This movie was very funny and it was very good. It was a true story about a black radio dj named Petey Greene played by Don Cheadle who was famous in the black community in Washington DC in the late 60's and 70's. Cedric The Entertainer's character was a radio dj also at the same radio station Don worked at. Martin Sheen, Taraji Henson, Mike Epps, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Vondie Curtis Hall(he is Kasi Lemmons husband and he directed Waist Deep movie with Tyrese, Meagan Good, Larenz Tate.)were also in the movie. It was directed by black female Kasi Lemmons who also directed Eve's Bayou with Samuel Jackson, Lynn Whitfield, Meagan Good.

Don Cheadle dissed Motown's former owner Berry Gordy in the movie. He said that Berry took some poor blacks from the downtrodden ghetto and forced them to learn how to talk, how to dress and how to act around white folks. Martin Sheen who was his boss at the radio station told him to get on the air and apologize to the listeners about Berry. Don refused to do it. Martin said to him that Berry could sue the radio station for what he said. Don was like, i don't care LOL.
