The Salon is a new straight to video movie with Vivica Fox, Terrence Howard, Monica Calhoun, Taral Hicks, Garrett Morris, Kym Whitley, Darrin Henson, Dondre Whitfield who was Vanessa's friend or boyfriend on The Cosby Show. The movie is about a beauty salon in the ghetto in Baltimore owned by Vivica Fox. Dondre's character is a hairstylist at the salon and he speaks his mind on different topics that are talked about in the salon. He even does 2 white girls hair at the shop because they're impressed with the way he does their hair. Now that's very unusual to see some white girls come to a black beauty salon. I thought the movie was pretty good. Ya'll should check it out. I've also been seeing Dondre lately do commercials with his actress wife Salli Richardson for Time magazine who's selling r&b/soul music cd's that have songs by different r&b artists from the 90's.
