Solomon, help me out here...in the episode God's Business is Good Business... - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

there was a real bad edit done on TVland. I have never seen this episode on TVLand. I don't care for the episode and never cared to watch it in syndication. Well, last night at 3 a.m. while having a hard time sleeping, I watched the episode and there is a moment when Willona came into the Evans' apartment. The reverend approached Willona and she had a smart aleck remark abt being divorced, not desperate. She then walks over to Florida and is abt to say something but then the scene is then immediately cut to James and the reverend sitting on the couch. REAL BAD EDITING JOB!!!!! What was edited out? What was Willona going to say to Florida? This has to be the worst edit ever on Good Times by Tvland.

She asked Flo how she liked her new hat, and then she started to gossip about a friend of their's who had gotten pregnant.

That's one of my top 5 pet peeves, If someone ask a question that is directed specifically toward me, I should be the one to answer it. If it's not then it's fair game as far as I'm concerned.

I made a decision to no longer watch Good Times, i have seen the show too many times and I',m done but I will only look at my Tapes if you need help with a Question Irene-lol

You barely stopped watching it? I know I stopped watching it a long time ago.

Last night was an exception. I was having a hard time sleeping and it was either Good Times or some so-called adult stuff on cable.

It's just so hard not to laugh at Uncle Phil, Carlton, Geoffery, and Will. I guess I will stop laughing at them one day

The only two episodes I don't mind watching are:

Where George and Weezy appear

and when Jazz is going to marry that chick and as they walk down the aisle, they play that song FLOAT ON.
