I am an avid reader of the message boards and was wondering which UK tv station holds the distribution rights and what they plan to do with them, I used to watch UM on Sky One and loved it, it did appear briefly on UK Living channels and then has just faded away.

Indeed, it is a shame.
I did contact livingtv a while back - they said they "had no plans to reair the series in the near future". They seemed to revamp their station (mainly to show endless repeats of 'next top model' before dropping UM. |

Unfortunately I cannot answer your question but I would like to ask you, or any British members, one in return.
Does anyone know where I can find Edgar Lustgarten AudioBooks? I'm looking specifically for a line of audio books titled: "BBC Famous Trial Series by Edgar Lustgarten". I have been scouring the internet trying to locate them in a CD format. They are available for download via Audible.com but I don't have downloading capabilities. I'm looking for either new or used CDs of this program. I don't think they're licensed in the US but I'm hoping they're still available somewhere in the UK that I can order from. The audio books, I'm lucky that I've been able to track down two of them, are just absolutely brilliant. Its Edgar reading the transcripts of old famous British and American trials, playing all the parts and setting the scene with asides about the barristers and the defendants. They're great because they focus on the trials as well as the crimes. There are audio books of the following: The Brighton Trunk Mystery The Brides in the Bath Murders Lizzie Borden Death at the Follies Death on the Crumbles The Newcastle Train Murder Any assistance would be appreciated. |

No idea, I also used to watch it on Sky religiously on a Saturday and they seemed to stop airing them in the mid 1990's, it was amazingly never picked up by BBC, ITV or Channel 4 and was I think shown on satelite on Hallmark over here a while back so my guess is nobody has the rights to it as nobody wants it because our screens are filled with reality garbage.
