RULES - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

ok, (tj, we may need your help establishing some of these.)

ok, you guys, i have been reading a lot of the messages for some "ground rules" that we are wanting to set.i believe that if we set them, we should stick to them. here are some of the ones that i think should be OFFICIAL rules that should be obided. please, if there are any problems you have with these, please post why.please post any rules you would like to add. there was a message board before this one that many people belonged to, and this is exactly how it was messed up, so lets work together to keep it CLEAN ok?

1. Scripts should be written in full, or by section. (section meaning 2-3 scenes in one post, not posting more whenever you come online. this is VERY distracting to the reader and many will lose intrest in your story.no small sections.)

2. We are all equal. At this time, i would like to apologize for any harsh words i may have said to any of you, sitcom writer in particular. we are not to SLAM other scripts because they are 'different' in anyway. however, constructive criticizim can be very helpful to the writer and may help the script reach it's full potential.

3. Remember, these are FACTS OF LIFE fan fictions, let's keep these stories lagit! ok! that mean's nothing that wouldn';t acctually be an episode. ok, what i mean is, no dying, no ghosts. issues like prenancy and childbirth and issues that are presented in our everyday lives should be allowed, however, no more of these deaths and injuries unless they have a happy ending.

4. each member should only have ONE name on which to post on this board.

5. no foul language should be used in commenting on one's script. however, if there is need for a few 'words' in a script, it should be allowed.

these are just a few of my rules, please add more or help me correct what i have posted to make if more fair. thanks you

i agree with all the rules but i can't always folow by #2. i mean sometimes i'm writing as much as i can but i HAVE to go! i write more a.s.a.p though!

i'm sorry...oh and another thing. like this WHOLE board writes sad stuff adn you can't tell us to just stop! that's what iwrite about! i mean no one ever dies but still! please! if i can't write about what i like...i'll have to leave sorry.

I think that the writers here should be allowed to write whatever they would like. If you have a problem with deaths or ghosts in a fanfic, you are more than welcome to skip over that message or leave constructive criticism to the author of the script.
