Default Indiana Wedding (JJ eat it up)

Febuary 9th, 1985 in Speedway. Snow is falling lightly outside.50 of Janet's friends and family are gathered at St. Rocco's church. Jack, the groom, is beaming. Today is the day he marries his friend. The one who will share his dreams, life and love.
The music starts and down come the groomsmen and bridesmaids. 1,2,3. Then the magic moment happens and the bride appears with her father on her arm. Janet glows underneath her white veil. Jack has been having dreams like this for quite awile.

"Who gives this woman to be wed to this man?"

"I do," Roland Wood tells the priest. He lifts up her veil and kisses his daughter then proceeds to sit with his wife.

Tears begin to fall down Janet's face but they are tears of happiness. She loved Jack and couldn't believe she was able to see this day. He had so many girls at his wish but she had no idea that he loved her this much. Her astonishment to this storybook affair was represented as she repeated her vows of love whole-heartedly to Jack. You could tell Jack couldn't believe it either. He thought she would never go for him like this but that was one thing about Janet, she could always suprise him in the sweetest, greatest ways.

"I now pronounce Jack Edward Tripper and Janet Donatella Wood husband and wife. Jack, kiss her already!"

The whole crowd cheers and laughs for the new newlyweds. Jack holds onto Janet as he gives her the most gut-wrenching kisses ever.

"I love you, Jack." she whispers in his ear after getting into the limo headed for the reception.

"I love you too, sweetheart."

Default The week after...

"Now, I'm not saying this because you are my son," Penny Tripper beamed. "But that was the best wedding ever."

"Mom..." Jack smiled in a modest way then took another bite of tiramisu.

"You my dear boy," Jack Sr. said with such praise. "are a very lucky man. Not only do you have a beautiful bride but a very sweet one."

"Jack," Janet blushed at the touching comment made by her father in-law.

"No, I'm serious," he places both hands on her face. "You are a wonderful woman."

Janet and him share a peck on the lips. Penny smiled at the sweetness but that gesture made Jack uncomfortable. Janet must have sensed it because after they broke away she took his hand and placed it in hers. The way you hold a child's hand.

"Well, it's almost nine," Penny started to get up from the table. "We should be going."

"Yes we should," Jack Sr. agreed

They all said their good-byes and then Jack and Janet went back into the kitchen to clean up. Jack cooked up a classic Italian lasanga with garlic bread. The first time he cooked since he got back from Indiana. It was a great honeymoon but they were both happy to be back in California. Their home sweet home.

Janet cleans her last dish and then goes into the living room where her husband is watching the wedding tape. She sits along side of him and wraps her arms around his neck. He kisses her cheek and then carresses it. Though it stopped after the tape showed them kissing. Larry, who they trusted to tape the event, zoomed in on Janet and it wasn't her face.

"That Larry!" Janet says turning off the tv.

"Janet, everybody at the wedding saw your cleavage that day. What does it matter?"

"I just thought Larry liked me better than that."

"Janet, it's Larry. You're the one who wanted him to tape it."

"Shut up, Jack! I'm going to bed," with that Janet storms off to the bedroom and slams the door.

'Man,' Jack thinks to himself. 'Our first fight as a married couple and it's over cleavage!'

Default What's wrong?

"Honey," Jack went into the bathroom to find his wife vomiting. "Are you alright?"
She looks up from the toilet bowl and nods. She knows she is lying. She hasn't felt good for the past week. But that was only dizziness now it's nausea. She didn't know what was wrong with her. Jack cups her chin and had such a look of concren about him.

"Do you want me to call Dr. Johnson in the morning?"

Janet nods and then begins to cry. Jack kisses her cheeks that are now stained with tears. Janet flushes the toilet and gets up to clean her mouth. The whole time with Jack massaging her back.

After she gargles, Jack carries her back into the bedroom and lays her down on the bed. He kisses her lips and proceeds to touch her. She would respond with flinches of pain until she couldn't stand it anymore.

"Oww! That hurts!"

Jack feels like the worst person in the world. He never, ever wanted to cause her pain in any way.

"Baby, I'm so sorry," he says hugging her.

"Honey, I know you didn't mean to hurt me."

"Are you okay?" Jack asks.

"Yes, sweetie. Everythings okay." Janet says kissing his lips.

The next day she goes to visit the doctor before work and eveything was fine and then some. Janet was pregnant with her first child.

Default How lucky can one guy be?

"How'd it go, honey?" Jack asks.

"It went great Jack." Janet says smirking at him.

"What's that smirk?"

"What smirk?"

"That I-know-something-you-don't smirk."

"Fine. I'm pregnant."

Jack stands there in shock. He was going to be a father. He always wanted to have children to carry down the Tripper name. But now it was somewhat different, there is more to it than that. He thinks of Janet, how he is going to watch out for her during pregnancy and how he was going to coach her through birth. Also, the hundreds of bottle feedings, the thousands of dirty diapers to be changed, the million cries in the night for whatever reason, and the billion hugs and kisses.

"Hey, you seem tense, I thought you would be happy," Janet says wrapping her arms around him.

"I"m happy. Just thinking of how our lives are going to change."

"Honey, there are obstacles with everything but they are not impossible. We will figure out a way to get through them."

"I suppose you are right," Jack says kissing his wife's mouth.

"I'm always right. I'm your wife that is my job."

"Shut up."

"Yeah, I better. I feel like I'm going to be sick again."

"Jesus Christ, Janet."

Default In my dreams

Terri had come over for the night. Jack was in Las Vegas for a food show. It was for business; but he didn't want to leave his pregnant wife who was going on her eighth month. Janet wanted him to go, she figured she had put him through enough with the morning sickness, cravings, and uncontrolable bladder.

"He, she, what will it be?" Terri asked while rubbing Janet's belly.

"You'll have to wait until birth."

"Maybe I should go into pediatric nursing."

"Why would you want to do that? I thought being an emergency room nurse was your number one goal in life?"

"Well, when I found out you were expecting, I thought of how bad I want to be in there with you when you had it."

"Well, you will. We're going to be in Wilshire Memorial."

"Yeah but still... When are your parents coming?" Terri asks trying to change the subject.

"Oh, in a couple of weeks. It will be nice to have them there with me and Jack. My mom's going to teach me how to breastfeed." Janet shudders at the thought.

"You seem less than thrilled."

"I'm just thinking of what happened with my sister when she had Lucia, her nipples were so big her mouth couldn't fit around them."

"Gosh,"

"I just hope everything will be okay," Janet looks down at the floor and cries. Terri puts her arms around her and reassures her that everything will be fine. 'Jack, I just want Jack here,' she thinks to herself. Just then the telephone rings and Terri goes to get it. It was the person Janet wanted.

"Hi, honey," Janet says sounding relieved just to here his voice.

"Hey, are you okay?"

"I'm okay are you okay?"

"Yes. I'm getting on a plane at 9 in the morning I should be back around noon."

"Okay."

"Just called to tell you that and to see how you were. I have to go now. I love you so much."

"I love you too. I will see you tomorrow."

Later that night, Janet drifts off to sleep. She dreams of bathing her baby child in the ocean. The child is laughing and Janet kisses the baby's belly. Janet turns to realize that Jack is standing under the waterfall buck naked. She picks up the baby and goes over to be with her husband. All three disappear into the waterfall and into a place of oblivion. She is wakened by someone's touch and wakes up to find Jack holding her face.

"Hi, sweetheart," Jack says giving her a long passionate kiss on the lips.

Default The birth

*Hey everyone, how's it going? Well, here's the birth, hope you enjoy. I'm opened to any kind of feedback you want to give me.*

The birthday occured on November 29th. The baby was two weeks late and had to be delivered via c-section. Janet wasn't in the gretest shape during the delivery. She was given an epidural and had gotten a fever as a side effect. With anti-biotics, the fever broke and she gave birth to a healthy if not big boy.

Michael John Tripper was ten pounds, one ounce. He looked like Jack, the hair, the eyes and the full lips. He had his mother's nose and ears. Her parent's were present for the birth and when Teri caught a break, she would visit. For now, it was Jack and Janet with their son, just them.

"He is so beautiful, he looks like you," Janet says crying.

Jack kisses her cheek and then rubs the top of her chest. This massage comforts Janet, it has been an emotional day for her.

"Are you tired, honey?" Jack asks her.

"Yeah, but I have to nurse him soon,"

"Well, I'll sit with him while you take a nap."

"Okay," Janet hands Michael to him and kisses his mouth before turning to rest.

Jack cradles his son in his arms and kisses his face. He loved his son and would die for him. Michael begins to cry and Jack tickles his stomach. It works. Unbelievable. It was as if Michael lets Jack know he feels just as connected to him as he does likewise.

An hour geos by and it was time for Michael to bond with Janet. Jack decided to go home for the night but promised to come back the next morning. Janet tried to bring Michael to her breast the way her mother taught her. Yet something didn't go right and Michael didn't take. She tried three more times before he would finally drink.

'This is so uncomfortable.' she thought.

While Michael gets his milk, Janet comforts him by rubbing his temple. She loved him so much and in a way she knows he feels the same way.

"You are so beautiful and sweet, you are everything I hoped for." Janet kisses Michael's cheek and the baby falls asleep alongside his weary but elated mother

Default The death

Five months later and they were going back to Indiana with Michael. Janet's mother had died. The day before was already an emotional day, Janet was shocked to learn she was two months pregnant with her second. Ruth Wood would never see her new grandchild.

Jack is in the driver's seat and he looks at his wife who's bawling in at the pain of it all.

'She's devastated.'

He comes to a red light and kisses her left temple. She looks at him with a sorrow that Jack had never seen on anyon'e face before. The look broke his heart. He feels like there is nothing he can do for her now.

"Honey?" Janet finally says something.

"What?"

"I love you."

"Baby, I know. I love you too. It's okay."

"No, I wanted to say that because Lord knows when I could go."

Jack remains silent. What's he supposed to say? He think maybe Michael knows because he begins to cry. In some sadistic way, Jack found it amusing.

"Sweetheart," Janet says rubbing Michael's calf. "It's okay. We're almost there."

"Why don't we stop at a hotel for the night?"

"No, we are almost at dad's and everybody is there."

"Okay, baby," Jack kisses her cheek. "Just try to calm down."

"Calm down! Calm down! My mother is dead, I'm not only a mommy but a mommy-to-be, and it's late and my life sucks!"

"Oh, yeah and like I'm not affected by it either!"

"I'm not apologizing!"

"Like I give a **** anymore Janet!"

"Oh that's just great!"

"Why did I marry you?"

"Because I love you," she stopped shouting. It was like Jack's remark stabbed her in the chest and for the rest of the ride she was quiet and withdrawn.

When they finally got to her dad's house on Blackberry Place, Janet just got out of the car and into the house. Didn't even think about getting Michael out of the car. Roland met her at the door and they cried in each other's arms.

Default The Snowball Effect

It was the next morning and Janet was lying down on her parent's bed with her father and Michael. Janet went out for a walk with Michael in the stroller. She felt good being in her hometown again and being able show her son where her roots were.

They spot a neighborhood park where children are having fun. Janet always loved the sound of children laughing and enjoying the simple pleasures of life.

'Enjoy this while you can," Janet wishes for them. Even more she wished it for her son, and herself for that matter.

"Mikey, look at swings," Janet points out to him. "Want to go try out the swings?"

Michael smiles and Janet picks him up. He has been happy all day long. He is a very secure baby.

Janet places him on the swing and gently pushes him. He enjoys this. He begins to laugh and then Janet does too. His laugh is so contageous it could stop a war. Maybe even death.

Janet could not help but notice a stain on her new white pants. It was red. Weird. She had not had anything red to eat that day or...

"Jack," Janet calls from a payphone crying.

"Yes, it's me honey what's the matter?"

"Can you take me to teh hospital?"

"Is it Michael?"

"No, I think I miscarried."

"Where are you?"

"I'm at Robinson Park on Robinson St."

"Okay, stay there. I'm coming to get you."

This story is going to be on hiatus for a while until I figure out what to do with the character's dilema. Writer's block sucks. But don't worry, I'm not giving up!

* Hiatus didn't last long!*

Loss is something that happens unexpectedly. Janet recently learned all too well with her mother's death. She had learned to cope with focusing on the love for her father, siblings, husband and son. She also grew to love the child still growing inside of her.

She was back in California in bed breastfeeding her son. She was felt comforted by the scenery around her .The cool white walls, coral comforter, beige pillows and yellow sunlight pouring in the windows. Gorgeous.

Michael falls asleep once again on his mother's chest. She picks him up and lays him on her shoulder. She kisses his rosy cheek and strokes his now black hair. She hums "Here Comes the Sun" by the Beatles and then the telephone rings. She picks up quickly and hears a familiar voice.

"Hey, Jan," Larry says in his usual voice.

"Hi, Larry," she says realizing how weird it was that he calls and she's only wearing a nursing bra on top.

"Are you okay?"

"Yes, I'm fine. I'm happy to be home."

"I'm so sorry about your mom."

"Oh, it's okay. Thank you."

"Also, I talked to Jack. Congrats on your pregnancy."

"Oh, thank you. That means a lot."

"Janet, can I ask you something?"

She rolls her eyes. She knows what this is about.

"What, Larry?"

"Do you have that copy of the wedding tape?"

"What do you want it for?" she asks disgusted.

"Well, I ran out of blank tapes..."

"Listen, buster. That is our tape. Regardless of what kind of camera tricks you decided to use."

Janet hangs up the phone in disgust. How typical of him? No heart at all.

"I don't care what it takes Michael, you are going to have respect for women and people," she whispers in her son's ear.

He then falshes Janet a smile like his dad's that screams I love you.

Default Bathwater

"You're okay, bud." Jack tells Michael. He was trying to give him a bath but he was crying. He never liked to take one.

"Look, look this isn't so bad," Jack says taking a handful of warm water and pours it against his arm. This seems to calm him down. He begins to gently put him in the tub and kisses his cheek.

He pours shampoo into his hand and begins to wash his hair, mesmerized by the lather in which soaked up his little guy's head. The waterfall of water comes down and the lather spreads into the water like a giant seafoam mass. It's not long before bathtime is over and is dried off.

"Good boy, Mikey!" Jack says kissing the top of his head.

Mikey goes on to coo something incomprehensible as Jack carries him into his bedroom. He powders his freshly cleansed thighs and applies a pair of Huggies. He pulls out two different onesies pajamas; a blue one with a sailboat on it and a yellow one with a duck on it.

"Which?" Jack asks Michael.

"Boo," Michael attempts to say.

"Okay."

After Michael gets dressed, Jack sits down with him for a bedtime cuddle. It was so nice to have alone time with his son. Things were getting nuts at the restaurant with all the new and frequent customers. Michael drifts off to sleep and Jack kisses his cheek. He places him in his crib and whispers in his ear:

"Goodnight, beautiful boy."

Default Desires and Showers

Nine months pregnant and wet. Janet was taking a late shower. She was lathering her expectant belly and felt a kick. She giggles. She couldn't wait see her brand new child.

Meanwhile, outside the shower, Jack was getting ready to suprise his wife. He was naked and was going to get clean in the dirty sort of way. He swung the curtain open and grabbed her butt.

Janet turns around to see her husband in great pleasure. He climbs into the shower and plants a big one on her lips. Janet takes her finger and circles it around his nipple. The warmth from the water sets the erotic mood as Jack caresses her milkfull breast.

"I love it when you grow from a B to a D."

Janet giggles and kisses his neck. He cringes from the pleasure and moves his hand from her breast, to her stomach, to the inside of her thighs. She lets out a sharp cry of pleasure and crashes into her husband.

"Let's go to bed, shall we?" Janet suggests.

"Yeah, I think we should." Jack says holding on to Janet's hand as she steps out of the shower. He grabs her a towel and wraps it around her body. He cups her face into his hands and kisses her lips again before drying himself off.

"I'll meet you in the bedroom," he says letting go of her face.

"I'll be waiting," she says with a sexual smile.

Janet heads off to bed while a still hungry yet satisfied Jack wraps a towel around his waist.

'I love that woman," he thinks to himself.

Janet slips into her white, floor-length nightie. She lays down in the bed waiting for husband.

"I love that man," she thinks to herself.
