Besides Married With Children and Three's Company, what other TV shows made negative - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

references to GOING TO THE DENTIST? I just always found it funny that on certain shows, going to the dentist was made out to be a horrible experience. On Three's Company, Jack had a toothche and didn't want to go to the Dentist and Al Bundy was afriad to go also.

My mom explained that going to the dentist years ago was a HORRIBLE experience which is why it was probably in the script that way

Fred had a pretty bad experience at the dentist on Sanford & Son, if I remember correctly.

I think on Perfect Strangers they had that. Balki was hilarious inside! The episode was called "Tooth or Consequences."

Laverne & Shirley.

Laverne went to Shirley's cousin who was a novice and very nervous.

Bad enough she was afraid of going to the dentist, then she had to visit one who was "fresh".

I was watching Hangin With Mr. cooper Tonight and Geneva was afraid to go to the Dentist because of a tooth ache

At first he didn't want to go to the Dentist, remember he wore the bunny ears. At Lamont's insistance Fred went, but he wanted a White Dentist.
