new fanfic "What would I do without you?"

okay.....i'm gonna write a new fanfic....it's starting when everyone's at a reunion and i'm gonna start it...everybody else finish it! Thanks! here goes nothing!

(Everybody's sitting around talking when Blaine comes up from dowstairs)

Bl- BLAIRE...where's my tie clip?!?!?!?!

B- (nervously) I...I....don't know...it must have f...fell off.

Bl- No Blaire...I think you took it! I know you took it....hand it over...you'll never get away with this!

B- (starts getting tears in her eyes) but I would never take anything from you! I promise...

Bl- (yelling) Oh, so now your lying to me?!?!

B- (teary-eyed) No! I really didn't take you tie clip! Please believe me!

Bl- I hate it when you lie like that to me!
(Slaps her)

B- (weakly) Blaine...i...i...

J- Hey leave her alone! She said she didn't take it so she didn't take it!

Bl- Stay outa this!

J- Make me!

B- Jo....please

Bl- I will get that tie clip back Blaire...(slaps her again)

B- (runs upstairs)

(Everyone's staring at Blaine with disgust)

Bl- What are all of you looking at huh? (leaves the house and slams the door)

T- Oh my...

N- Poor Blair...how could he do that to her over a tie clip?

J- I'm gonna go talk to her...

T & N- We'll be up soon.

(Jo walks up-stairs and lightly knocks on the door....she didn't hear an answer...she just heard crying so she slowly opened the door...to see Blair sitting on her old bed weaping)

J- Hey...(sits next to her)

B- W...wh..why....do..doesn't he l..l..love me?

J- I can't answer that...i'm sorry. (hugs her)

B- (Crying on her shoulder)Oh Jo! Ho...how'd i end up like this?

J- Don't be so hard on yourself Blaire, it's not your fault.

(Rachel comes to the door)

R- Mom? Are...ummmm...you okay?

J- Rachel, your mom is a little upset right now okay? She needs to talk to me so go down and play with Alexz.

R- Wait, you don't understand, i saw what my dad did to her and I...

B- you saw?!?!? (starts sobbing)

R- well the door was a little bit open downstairs and i looked through and...well that's not the point mom... the point is that whenever I'm upset you comfort me and help me, and whenever you're upset you tell me to leave you alone and i just wanted to tell you that I love you. Even if dad doesn't love you i do, and i will try to love you double so u can feel like you are being loved by dad too. Well that's all i wanted to say...see ya.

(Blair still crying but letting up a little bit)

J- Your a lucky girl Blaire, you have a daughter who loves you more than anything. Things could be worse, Rachel coud have been on Blaine's side.

B- (almost stopped crying, takes head off Jo's shoulder) I know...I am lucky to have her. What would i do without her?

(both silent for a minute)

J- want me to bring her up here?

B- please...

(Jo starts to walk out...)

B- Oh, Jo?

J- yeah?

B- Thanks,I'm lucky to have a friend like you.

J- No problem.

(Rachel walks upstairs)

B- Rachel hunny?

R- (kind of uuncomfortable) uhhh yeah mom?

B- come here.

(rachel walks over and sits next to her)

B- look, i'm sorry that you had to see me this way, but i just want to let you how much what you said meant to me.

R- it was true ya know!

B- (smiles a little) I know Rach, I know.

(Both hug)

R- Well i'm gonna go, umm ya know hang out with Alexz.

B- Okay sweetie, i'm going to lay down for a couple of minutes.

R- Oh mom? Don't worry about Dad anymore, because between me,Mrs. Bonner, Alexz, Tootie, and Natalie, he'll never hurt you like that again.

(Rachel leaves the room, nad Blair lyes down trying to go to sleep)

(Downstairs)

OKAY! YOU GUYS FINISH IT!

okay, since nobody's replying I'll write a LITTLE bit more.

(downstairs all talking to Jo about Blaire)

T- Rachel! How's your mom doing?

R- (sighs) okay i guess...why?

T- Well I'm very concerned about her.

Mrs. G- We're all very concerned about her.

N- Yeah,Can Tootie and I go up and visit her yet?

R- uhh, not now she told me that she was going to rest for a little while. When she wakes up you can visit her,i think.

T- Okay, thanks.

R- Whatever.

Mrs. G- Rachel?

R- (rolls eyes) what?

Mrs. G-are you...okay? i mean being 11 and seeing everything you have.

R- Yes, i'm fine.

A-Rachel come on! N*SYNC is coming on!

R- I've been trying to come down!

(Rachel goes downstairs to wait N*SYNC with Alexz.)

(N,J,T, and Mrs. G all sit around talking)

(one hour later)

Mrs g: so girls how are you doing, tell me about your life so far...

J: well I am now a cop for the state of new york, live in the city with Alexz..

Mrs G: O wonderful, and are you still married to rick?, by the way how is he?

J: hes doing fine, he is in the city today, and yes we are still married

Mrs. G: O that's fantastic, tootie, do people still call you that, how are doing?

T: only my closest friends still call me that and I am now directing small films and plays, musicals. I also still love to sing every chance I get.

Mrs G: thats terrific, following you dream, I have never known one of my girls to give up on their dream!

T: yea, I am very pleased with the way my life has been going, except I wish I could have seen my closest friends more...

Mrs G: it is so great to be all back together again...and of course nat how are you doing?

N: ok..survieing, I write for the New York times and thigns are preety stable at the moment..((a little hesitant when she says this))

T: what do you mean at the moment..?and dont tell me nothing cuz i know there is something..

N: o its a little something of nothing...

T: what is that suppose to mean, if it so not important then you would have told you closest friends...and you best friend, but you did not tell us anything so that means something is not right...

N: OK, I know that tootie wont shut up till i tell so here it gose, I'm 2 months pregnant...

J: thats great, good job nat~

Mrs G: wonderful, the birth of a child is a gift that is so special, and amazing event! congradulations nat~

T: thats awesome nat, but if it was such good news she would have told us before there's more...

N: how dose she know all this, you are right, once i told snake the news he got his stuff and left me..but i am over him now((shes that in a really nonconvincing tone))

T: I am so sorry nat

J: I really am sorry

Mrs G: my dear nat i am terriblely sorry....
((there brife moment of silence is broken by a loud thud on the floor, and a high pitched scream))

T: what was that...?

J: it sounded like it was coming from our old bedroom, where blair is...o no...

Jo, Natalie, Tootie, and Mrs. Garrett all rushed up the stairs. Once they were at the door Jo motioned for them to stop. She pulled her gun and kicked the door in...
There layed Blair on the floor with Blaine standing over her, a chair raised above his head. Jo slowly walked into the room and inched closer to Blaine.

Jo: Don't do it Blaine. You hurt anymore than you already have and you'll regret it. There's four witnesses here who will testify, and you have a daughter downstairs who loves you and Blair, and you don't want her to feel guilty about this.

Bl: Oh shut up, Jo.


Mrs. Garrett, Natalie, and Tootie all looked around the corner of the door to see what was going on.

Mrs G: Oh my!

Jo: Mrs. Garrett, get out of here...NOW!

Mrs. Garrett shook her head reluctantly but finally left once Natalie and Tootie convinced her to do so.

Jo: You guys go watch Rachel and Alexz, and KEEP THEM AWAY from here.

The three did as they were told and rushed down the stairs to check on the kids...


Jo, who still had her gun drawed and aimed at Blaine let her eyes wonder to Blair who was laying on the floor clutching her shoulder and crying.

Jo: Blair, don't move your shoulder.

Blaine laughed and stared hard at Jo.

Bl: What, you a doctor now, too?

Jo continued staring at Blaine and slowly took the safety lock off her gun.

Jo: I know how to shoot this thing Blaine, and I sure as hell will if you even ACT like you're going to throw that chair down on her.

Blaine laughed as he inched closer to Blair.

Jo: And I'll blow your fingers off if you take another step toward her.

Blaine raised an eyebrow at Jo, wondering if she was telling the truth. Blaine raised the chair higher and acted like he was about to bring it down...

Before Jo knew what was happening Rachel had run into the room and fallen over her mother, and at the same time Blaine was bringing the chair down...

this is great! anyone wanna add on? it's gettin better and better! i just fell so sad for Blair and Rachel , I mean they're both probebly gonna be hospitalized, and wow, i hope Rachel or Blaire don't die, I mean what would they do? I wonder if Blaine's gonna be imprisoned?!?! Oy, i'm goin crazy! someone finish this before i really go insane!

Ok, since no one has added on and I was having fun writing that last part I'm gonna add some more. Here goes...

Blaine brought the chair down and hit Rachel and Blair. Before they could feel the full impact though Jo had kicked Blaine right in the stomach, causing him to drop the chair and hunch over in pain. He fell on top of Rachel who was now screaming, and Blair who had no signs of life left in her. Jo grabbed him by the shirt collar and tossed him off the two helpless people.

Jo: Someone call and ambulance--NOW!

She bent down by Blair and Rachel's side and immediately assesed their injuries. She noticed that Rachel was getting a big not on the back of her head, and that her jaw seemed to be bruised pretty badly.

Jo: NAT! Get up here.

Jo helped Rachel off her mother and carried her to the bed. She gently laid her down as Natalie walked in the room.

Jo: Nat, go in the bath room and wet a rag and put it on back of Rachel's head.

Natalie looked around the room in shock.

Jo: NOW, NAT!

Natalie snapped out of her thoughts and quickly did as she was told.

Jo then found a small piece of electrical cord and wrapped Blaine's wrists together before he could get up. She then hurried over to Blair and assessed her damages. She tried to find a pulse on Blair, and finally picked up a mild one. She then examined Blair's shoulder and determined it was definetly broken. The thing that bothered her most was the blood that was beginning to come from Blair's ear.

Jo: Damn it, he choked her.


Jo turned around at the sound of people rushing up the stairs. She turned to see Tootie standing there out of breath.

T: The ambulance will be here soon.

Jo nodded and then turned her attention back to Blair. She closed her eyes tightly, trying to think what she should do. She snapped her fingers...

Jo: I need a blanket and an ice pack. I don't have all day so hurry the hell up before I get really impatient.

Tootie tossed a concerned look over at Natalie who was trying to calm down the hysterical Rachel, and then rushed out of the room to get a blanket and ice pack.


Natalie hugged Rachel close...

N: Your mom will be just fine. Don't worry, honey.

Rachel continued screaming and crying...


Jo carefully put Blair in the HELP position, and then leaned up against the wall, pulling her knees up to her chest. Now all they could do was wait...

(Alexz sicks her head in the door and says...)
A: Mom, what happened? I heard someone scream and then- oh my
J: Alexz, try to calm Rachel down! (Alexz nods then goes and sits by Rachel.)
A: Rachel? Can you hear me? If you can hear me, raise your right hand.
N: Wow! Jo, she's really good at that.
J: She goes with me on cases all the time. After she got over the, "My mom carries a gun around all day" thing she started asking to come with me on cases. It's her way of coping with it. That and piano.
A: Good! Now, I'm gonna ask you yes or no questions and if the answer is yes, raise your right hand. If it's no, raise your left. Ok? (Rachel raises her right hand.) Good.

I thought that might add interest to the story!

Alexc inched closer to Rachel and put her hand on the girls ankle.

A: Ok, do you think anything is broken?

Rachel slowly raised her left hand.

A: Ok, that's good. I just want you to know you mom is gonna be fine...ok?

Rachel again slowly raised her right hand.

Alexc nodded and slowly stood up.

A: I gotta go get something, but I'll be right back, ok?

Rachel again raised her right hand. Alexc nodded and walked over to her mom...

A: Mom, Blair is gonna be ok...right?

Jo looked down at Blair who still hadn't opened her eyes or said anything for the past few minutes. She then looked up at her daughter and forced a smile.

Jo: Yeah, she'll be fine. Why don't you go wait for the paramedics?

Alexc nodded her head and gave her mom a reassuring smile and kiss on the cheek.

Jo sighed and pulled herself up to her knees. She then began muttering to herself:

Jo muttering) You assesed her damages, took her pulse, put her in the HELP position... think damnit.

Jo slowly put her hands up under Blair's head to give it support.

Jo: They better get here soon...
