( It's Christmas time at EDNA'S EDIBLES)

J: Hey, guys, I just got a ticket to Miami!
T: That's great Jo!
N: Why are you going all the way down there ( points to the floor), and not staying up here( points the the roof top)?
J: Oh, I'm spending Christmas with my folks.
T: That's really nice, Jo!
J: Yeah, besides, I hate to admit this, but I miss the way my mom bakes cookies for Christmas. The cookies which are shaped like Santa Claus, with the green and red sprinkles on them. My mouth is watering just thinking about them.
B( sarcastically): Well, don't make this place like the ocean or something, I just washed it. Your saliva wouldn't look good, it would stain the floor.
J: Me and mom used to sit around all day, opening and exchanging gifts, eating cookies, and other fun Christmas stuff.
N: Well, you're going to have a great Christmas then.
J: What do you mean?
N: Well, you're just going to be thinking about how our Christmas is going. I
'm sure you'll be happy when you think of me!
B: i think that's a clever way of saying you and your parents are doing something nice for Christmas.
N: Yeah, you're right.
T: What do you do?
N: Well,every year me and dad go on a little trip to the slopes.
T: Doesn't it take long to get there from...where are you going any way?
N: New Jersey
T: So it is long. It's like a dat! What do you do in the car, sit there, joke, I want details!
N: Well, I guess we just sit there. Say something when it's on our minds. Remember things.
B( sarcastically): That sounds fun.
N: It is, really. Sometimes Dad says to me, ( in a deep voice, immatating her father) NATALIE, DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH IT COSTS TO GO TO SCHOOL AT EASTLAND? ( In her normal voice) I say, No, I don't recall, although you tell me every single day, by e-mail, person, by phone. So her says( immatating her father) WELL IT COSTS( In her normal voice) Then I change the topic.
B(sarcastically): Fun....
N: Don't make fun of my tradition!
B: Well, for all of you, I have the only intresting thing around here for Christmas!
J: What? Shopping at Bloomingdales?
B: No, being with ALL my family. I never see all of them. I got 26 cousins-54 aunts-
T: We see, Blair, Isn't anyone interested about what I'm doing this year?
B,J,N: No
T: Well, I got something to tell anyway, and it's not Christmas parties!
N: Then what is it?
T: Oh, forget it. I don't want to say.
(Tootie walks out of the room)
J: What's up with her?
B: She's been acting very weird lately.
N: I know, somethings definetly bugging her.I'M GOING TO SEE WHAT'S WRONG!

N: Tootie, you don't have to hide it.
T: Hide what?
N(laughing): What?Ha!You tell her what, Jo.
J: No way, feelings are Mrs.G's department,Nat.
B: What those two scardy cats are trying to say is tell us why your so upset!
T: Am I upset?
( Tears start rolling down Tootie's face)
N: Well, are those tears of joy or tears of anger?
T: Look, guys, it's just none of your bussiness!
B: But we all share our feelings with eachother.
T: Well, I guess we have to stop that, shouldn't we?
J: What's buggin' you?
T: NOTHING!
( Tootie bursts out of the room)
( In the shop, Blair,Natalie,and Tootie are talking to Mrs.Garrett)
MG: So, something's bugging Tootie,huh?
J: Yeah,exactly. She won't tell us what it is! Maybe we could have helped!
MG: You know girls, sometimes Tootie thinks she can handle her own problems. In this case, she can't. Just let it go, she will budge when she's ready to.
J: Do I think that's just a way to say, leave her alone?
MG: Some sort....
( Mrs.Garrett walks out)
N: I think we should help her.
B: But you heard what she said, we can't.
N: BUT SOMETHING CAN BE TERRIBLY WRONG!

J: Bye, I'll see you guys after Winter Break!
N: Jo, you're leaving?
J: Yeah, I got cookies to bake, n' folks to see.
N: Your leaving your friend here, at her time of need?
J: Yeah, why?
N: Our Eastland spirit is to be honest, ( from new girl part 1), and I'm honest to you that she's really upset about something!
J: Well, then you can handle her By-
N: I HAVE MY SLOPES TO RIDE!
J: So, you want me to stay with Tootie, and you can go being cramped up in a car just like that?
( Jo snaps her fingers)
N: Well, yeah, if you put it in such harsh words.
N: I CAN'T BELIEVE I'M NOT GOING ON THE SLOPES! I have to call my father and tell him.
( Did I here someone not going?
J and N: Yeah, were taking care of Tootie.
B: Go do what ever you want, I'm staying here with Tootie.
J: I thought you were staying with your family?
B: Jo, this is my family!

( Blair is home with Tootie, but she won't come out of their room)
B: Tootie! Come on out! What's wrong?
T: Nothin, I don't want to talk about it!
B: Please!
T: NO BLAIR!
B: Ok! I'll be in the lounge if you need me
( In the lounge, Blair decides to call Tootie's mother to ask if he knows anything about this)
B: Hello? Mrs. Ramsey?
B: Yeah, it's Blair.
B: Fine, how are you doing?
B: I called because I have to ask you a question.
B: I know, A Warner is perfect, but it's about your daughter.
B: Yeah, Dorthoy, but we call her Tootie.
B: No, not the icecream flavor.
B: Well, Toot- I mean Dorthoy is really upset about something.
B: You know what it is? What?
B( Slowly): That's why. Ok, thanks Mrs. Ramsey.
( Blair slowly hangs up the phone)
B: So that's why Tootie's so upset

T: I didn't want anyone to know!
B: But when you have a crisis like this you should let us know!
T: Please Blair, it's serious! Don't tell anyone!

B: Ok, I won't tell. You should tell, someone can help you!
( Blair is in the lounge with MG)
MG: So, Blair, what was all the screaming with you and Tootie upstairs?
B:I promised not to tell.
MG:You know Blair, if a friend is in trouble, a friend should tell to help that person...
B: I promised!
MG: Fine.... give me clues! Is it about Tootie? Or Natalie? Or-
B: Forget it Mrs. Garrett, I promised Tootie!
( Blair and Tootie are in the room)
T: You didn't tell Mrs. Garrett, right?
B: No
T: I thought it would never happen to me!
B: I have to say, it happens to everyone.....
T: I had a hard life already!
( T starts crying)
T: Blair...I'm so upset!
