Default HD Fans are you annoyed by the way the show is being released on DVD?

The way Happy Days is being released with it's spinoffs instead of more seasons. I'm sure most of you would prefer season 3, 4, and 5 to be released instead of the COMBO RELEASE of HD, L&S, and M&M. Not sure why Paramount is releasing all 3 shows together even though they are connected. I don't see Sony releasing AITF with Maude and the Jeffersons-lol

Default tim life dvd woul have been better if they had th happy dvd sets

hey i couldn't agree with you more cbs/paramount does not care how they re releasing the sets, i hope that for season 3 that all of the original will be intact because without that there would be no telling what was heard in that season or what the band had played and the editing deleted scenes i mean season 3 is the popular series that we all have been waiting for and for cbs/paramount to mess it up since they are making the decisions i a down right ashamed but what cn we do about it othinglike what time life did with the odd couple dvd, i wish they had happy days dvd sets instead of cbs/paramount at lest they would have showed everything intact, i think a while back i saw that time life actually had a happy days dvd but i think it was in another country i look it up peace, i think time life would have been better in obtanning the rights to hd l&s and m&m like they did with the odd couple and get smart peace

I'm not really bothered by it. I just hope they'll keep releasing Happy Days once Laverne & Shirley is completed. I also hope Joanie Loves Chachi and maybe even Blansky's Beauties will see the light of day on DVD.

Actually, the first 2 seasons of AITF were released on DVD along with the Jeffersons, Good Times, and Sanford and Son.

I'm just glad they are being released. Even with the music replacements we are getting to see material that hasn't been shown since the original airings in some cases. Season three has some great episodes including the classic "Richie Fights Back". I'm grateful for the chance to add that to DVD collection.

I hope that Amazon price is correct. If the price is high, that could mean there's some original music included. I'd gladly pay it if it were true.

I hope they will show Happy Days the respect it deserves and release the season 3 boxset with only HD eps on it and not the other shows with it. Just because they're spinoffs doesn't mean they should be on the same DVDs.

I just hope all the episodes are uncut. I'm sick of seeing these butchered episodes on TV Land and WGN.

Why would other shows be included with the Happy Days set? That hasn't been the case with the first two releases.

What's being referred too is the season SETS being release dot the market at the same time, not on th esame DVD's. Each season of Happy Days is being released at the same time as seasons of Laverne & Shirley and Mork & Mindy. All seperate sets being released at the same time.
Going by the last release other than cuts made for music issues, the episodes should be uncut.

it'd be nice - and for the record, I'd pay double that if they were complete - but I don't think CBS/Paramount is going to do anything that might risk any profits for the rest of any of the Happy Days sets, or its spin-offs.

Will season 3 contain any extras? The only reason that I ask is because CBS/Paramount has been sneaking in extras for their releases. For example: All the season 2 sets of their releases of Family Ties, Bosom Buddies, Beauty and the Beast, and Girlfriends all have some type of bonus.

It seems that it is possible that we might see some sort of bonus on the season 3 set. I would be happy with just the 2005 reunion and maybe some bloopers... and UNCUT episodes of course!

I concur! Maybe we should lobby for CBS to release both the 1992 and 2005 HD reunion specials, if you agree.
