Default Kirk Cameron's Real Date of Birth--October 12, 1969

I was watching the E! Entertainment series "Celebrity Profile" episode on Kirk Cameron and found out that he graduated from high school in 1988. Although, as you know, most biographies about Kirk state that he was born in 1970, I'm here to tell you that according to E!, that information is WRONG--in actuality, he was born on October 12, 1969. Thank you. So long.

The show mentioned in the above thread is the very christian show The Way of the Master(WOTM) a Christian reality show type thing he produces and co-hosts. It is about how to spread your faith and they go out on the the streets and ask people about what they believe, he also is frequently on a radio show of the same name very similar topic only on radio.- he is also a producer of..I love the radio show is it very funny and very interesting. Not stuffy or preachy kind of thing it's funny because They are always joking with Kirk about his child star past on that show- and you really get a good sence of who Kirk is and what he's like. seems like a cool guy.

Default To newlife: I don't make stuff up

To newlife: I would NEVER make something up like this. If I did, which I didn't, I would tell you. A lot of showbiz celebrities lie about their ages by 1 or 2 years. Take former "Green Acres" star Eddie Albert. He said he was born on April 22, 1908 in Rock Island, Illinois. According to his death certificate, Eddie was actually born on April 22, 1906. So, what that tells you is Kirk is not the only one who shaves a year or two off his actual age. If Kirk had actually been born on October 12, 1970, as his claims are, he would have graduated high school in 1989--just like everybody else in the U.S. who was born between September 1970 and August 1971. Since Kirk graduated in 1988, he was actually born on October 12, 1969. Take me, for instance: I was born on December 22, 1989. I am a senior in high school this year. If I had been born August 22, 1989, I would have graduated from high school this past Spring 2007.

LOL... this is the stupidest conversation I have ever had.

If The "E channel" said he born in 1969 then they made a mistake. Why would he lie he when started working as a little kid, the only reason to lie about ones age is if you are middle aged or old. And he looks young for his age- so that another reason not to lie to feel younger. Trust me I am right. And when he graduated has nothing to do with anything at all- that arguement makes no sence. Kirk was born in 1970 because that when he says he was born.

Default Listen Up!

Listen, DO NOT believe half of what Kirk says--especially his age. Just because Kirk says something like that he was born in 1970 doesn't make it true. And for your information, newlife, it's not just middle-aged or old actors who shave years off their ages. The late Katharine Hepburn, when she started showbiz, claimed she was born on November 8, 1909. In her autobiography, she stated her correct date of birth--May 12, 1907. She explained that November 8, 1909 was her late brother's birthday. And the E! network NEVER lies! Thanks.

This is an attack on his integrity. If this was AP or a REAL news source, I'd consider it as a possibility.

BTW, what would Kirk gain by lying about his age now? (Particularly considering he has a program on Christian TV now).

P.S.: It is possible to graduate from High School before turning 18 (mostly depends on the date of birth). So he could have turned 17 in Oct. '87 and still graduated in May/June '88 WITHOUT having to have turned 18!

Default Response to NotMyNewsChannel

Listen to me--I know that it's very possible for someone to graduate before they turn 18--but only if they're Doogie Howser's. Just before turning 6 in 1975, Kirk started Kindergarten, and was almost through with Kindergarten before his one-and-only sister Candace was born. (For those who don't know who Candace Cameron is, she played eldest daughter D.J. on TV's "Full House.") It used to be that if you were born in a certain year (such as 1955), you'd graduated high school with the people who were born the same year you were in. Since about 1965, if you were born between September 1965 and August 1966, for instance, you graduated high school in 1984--unless you skipped a grade at school. Kirk didn't do that. Therefore, Kirk was born on October 12, 1969. He shaved a year off his actual age in an attempt to make himself younger for the role of Mike Seaver on TV's "Growing Pains." And no, it's not a rumor; it's an actual fact. Please NEVER respond to this message ever again. Thank you very much. So long.

Ha ha Ok, maybe you should check your facts. Kirk has two other sisters besides Candace-they are older then candace- one is about 10 or 11 months younger then kirk you didn't know that and you don't know what age he started school you don't know anything at all. If you post we can respond all we like.

I graduated from a small Christian school two years ago; and in my graduating class of 7, at least 3 of the seniors (not including myself) graduated at 17 (their birthdays were around late summer to mid-fall). So it is possible to go from kindergarten to 12th grade before turning 18.
