a woman old enough to be their MOTHER???_LOL The ep when they were looking for another roomate and Larry and Mr. Furley were trying to help out and Mr. furley brings this old a$$ woman to look at the Apt-lol There was no way Janet was going to share a bedroom room with a woman old enough to be her mother

Furley was thinking of himself and not what Jack or Janet wanted/liked. The same with Larry, Jack and Janet's choices. They each thought of himself/herself.

What I always wanted to know was why was it okay for Janet to have a guy move into the apartment but Jack had to pretend to be gay in order to live with the girls? It always seemed like a double standard to me and Furley didn't seem to mind.

I really don't see what was wrong with it. Janet was great friends with Mrs. Roper and she was a lot older than her too.

As a woman, if I was in that situation, I don't think I would be to keen on sharing a room with someone my landlord picked out for me. That is just asking for trouble, regardless of her age.

I get what you are saying Solomon. Besides, Janet was not happy with that thought either, so there is no arguing that it wasn't a good idea. Janet wanted someone whom SHE was going to be happy with since she had to share a room with them.
