Default The Suite Life of Zack & Cody Cancelled

well, they stopped filming...but new episodes will still be shown until the end of the year.

since TSL is one of the Disney's highest-rated shows, clearly something went on behind the scenes.

Reports are saying that the main reason the show was cancelled was because of Dylan's album. Disney just wouldn't allow him on the show anymore. Kind of sad really.

I would have been really surprised if Disney extended it past 100 episodes.

I think, though, if they went past 100 episodes, ratings would have begun to dip . . . just my opinion.

I've been reading that it's not unusual for Disney shows to stop at 60 or 65 shows, and not many make it beyond that.

If you think about it, it really isn't that unusual today for the network to go past 65. Back in the days, their shows like Lizzie McGuire and Even Stevens stopped at 65, for some reason.

Disney used to always stop at 65 episodes. But that doesn't seem to always be the case anymore. "That's So Raven" went past 65 episodes. I have to admit, I figured this show would, too. So I'm a little surprised to hear this news.

And when I first heard that Dylan was getting an album, I assumed it was a Disney thing. They're always trying to make singers out of their actors.

There is no album. It was just extremely innocent "harmless" fun.

well That's So Raven and Kim Possible made it to 100 so i guess 100 is the limit (TSL will have 100 by the end of this season)

For now. Since hannah montana is doing so well, it might be allowed to exceed 100.
