I was on self checkout today at work and I heard something that made me upset and sad. I overheard an adorable little girl who was about 7 or 8 ask if her aunt thought that she was fat for her age. This girl was perfectly normal and healthy looking! Of course her aunt told that she was perfect but the girl said "you're just saying that." She seemed like such a sweetheart I hope her family gets through to her that her weight is fine. It's hard enough growing up without having to obsess about your weight.

When I was ten, my older brother made me feel like I was fat. I was not very
athletic, and it was hard to go by the glass door of an apartment building and see my "FAT" reflection in the mirror. I didn't realize there was nothing wrong with me at that age.

Of course, in my mid-40's, I am overweight (not kidding).

These Lay's sour cream and onion potato chips sure are good.

What does your doctor tell you? He's the only opinion you should be concerned about, regarding weight.

My sister has a major weight problem. That makes the rest of us a little more weight centered then we might be if she didn't have a weight problem because we don't want to have a weight problem. We know just how hard it is on people who do. I'm now 120 pounds (according to the scale yesterday) and I'm not happy with that. It all comes back to your height vs. weight ratio. Check it on a BMI calculator or something.
