I just noticed that on the US Amazon site, there are loads of different product categories; sports, etc. and the UK site has sports items and a few other categories but the Canadian Amazon only has DVDs and books and video games. Is there a reason that there's hardly anything in the CA Amazon compared to the US? I noticed some product descriptions and stuff are missing on our local amazon too...
Yeah, I'm a ticked off Amazon.ca addict that wants more items.

Well different companies can sell there products on Amazon.com and also individual people can sell their things on Amazon.com. So I think it's all about how many companies subscribe to sell products.

Yeah but isn't Amazon just one company, not three?

It's just a online store that tries to cater to their certain customers. They have an Amazon for Japan and China, so they'll only sell things that familiar to them and in their own language.
