Thumbs up Underdog

Took my girls to see Underdog last Saturday Night. My 9 year old said it's the best movie she's seen, and my 6 year was smiling throughout the whole movie. A big thumbs up!

I wouldnt bother seeing this, its simply NOT the Underdog I grew up with. Underdog is supposed to be a human in dog form ( The way that Mickey is a human that just HAPPENS to look like a giant mouse )...not to mention that Riff Raff was a WOLF, not a Rotweiler!

Well put!! I feel the movie is utter trash, they could've been more true to the cartoon I grew up watching. At least with Garfield, they made him computer generated which should have been done with Underdog and his friends. Sween Polly Purebread should have been a poodle. Check out the original cartoon instead of seeing the movie.

No way will I be seeing this movie. I grew up watching the cartoon as well and they should have just left it alone. What's next, Yogi Bear?

Touche' about not being the real Underdog, I grew up watching Underdog also, but my 9 and 6 year old did not, so they didn't know any difference. All I can say is they loved this movie.

It's too bad that this isn't going to be made. I'd actually go see that.

Bravo Mikado.

TOUCHE!!!!!! Mikey, well put. You know how to make a point and be funny at the same time.

Kudos to the people who jeer Underdog. That is NOT the cartoon character I grew up and loved. That is soooo stupid. I see the trailer and I cannot believe someone thought this was going to be a great idea. It may be good for those who don't know better, but if you are going to make a movie based on a character who many people grew up with, you better get it right, or DON'T MAKE IT AT ALL!!!!!

That would be like making a cartoon out of a great 60's movie.

I can't believe those studio jerks won't cater to the babyboomers who have children. Too bad they don't read the message boards, we're the ones who actually pay their salaries with our hard earned money. I bought my neighbors kid the Underdog cartoon collection, so he can enjoy a true classic instead of the imposter at the movies.

Cool

I haven't seen it, but my mom & step-dad saw it, and they loved it.
