In the episode of the Halloween party at Ralph's house, Ralph was dressed in tights with an R on his chest: "Super Ralph"

In the episode where the party is at the Haunted House, Potsie is also dressed in tights with an F on his chest.

Do you have any insight on this? I was thinking that Henry Winkler was intended to be "Super Fonzie" in the Haunted House episode, but it would probably make Fonzie look too goofy. I think they changed their minds at the last minute, but didn't want to waste the efforts (of making the costume) and had Anson Wiliams wear it at the last minute.

I've always thought that Potsie wanted to be like Fonzie, and that's as close as he could get
