I would like to share my memories of an episode that I thought was halarious! I believe that this episode took place in either the first or the second season. Dr. Weston found romance in a woman who I believe was also some sort of doctor. Laverne seemed to have some sort of sixth sence to where she could tell that the lady was bad news. The problem was that she could not put her finger on why. When the doc brough her home to meet his girls, Carol was crazy about her but Barbara could not stand her. Wouldn't you know that the girls would disagree about this just like everything else? Unable to understand Barbara's point of view, Carol said, "she's beautiful, intelegent, considerate, what is there not to like, her 'clutch purse'"? In the end, everyone else's instinct turned out to be correct and the woman proved to be a stick-in-the-mud. Carol was very apologetic about her wrong impression. In my opinion, the episode itself was fine, but Carol's clutch purse remark was "priceless"!
