ASHENBRENNER
Starring Colin Ferguson as Tim Ashenbrenner, a middle-classed husband, father, brother, and police officer living in Pittsburgh with his family. Tim and his loving wife of 17 years, Lori Ashenbrenner (Lea Thompson) have four children: 16-year-old fashionista Jenna Ashenbrenner (Jamie Lynn Spears), 14-year-old precocious Sarah Ashenbrenner (Morgan York), and a set of 8-year-old rambunctious boys, Riley Ashenbrenner (Brecken Palmer) and Dalton Ashenbrenner (Bridger Palmer). As previously-mentioned, Tim works as a police officer for the Pittsburgh Police Department, and Lori works as a wedding coordinater. Jenna is in the 11th grade, Sarah is in the 9th grade, and Riley & Dalton are in the 3rd grade. Tim, Lori, and the four kids share their everyday lives with Tim's younger brother and sister-in-law, Eric and Lisa Ashenbrenner (Mark Valley, Jane Krakowski). Eric is a public defense attorney, and Lisa is a registered nurse at a nursing home. Eric and Lisa's house is not far from Tim and Lori's house, so the two brothers and their wives are awfully close-knit. Even though at times, Tim and Eric don't always see eye to eye on certain things, certainly when their jobs and work get involved (since Eric is a defense attorney and Tim is a cop). And periodically throughout the series, the Ashenbrenner family gets surprise visits from Tim and Eric's much-younger kid sister, Katie Ashenbrenner (Maggie Lawson), who has a history of being a bit flaky and making wrong decisions in her life. But bottom line, watch how the eight Ashenbrenner family members must get along and cope with their everyday lives and issues that arise along the way. Cast of Characters: Colin Ferguson as Tim Ashenbrenner Lea Thompson as Lori Ashenbrenner Mark Valley as Eric Ashenbrenner Jane Krakowski as Lisa Ashenbrenner Jamie Lynn Spears as Jenna Ashenbrenner Morgan York as Sarah Ashenbrenner Brecken Palmer as Riley Ashenbrenner Bridger Palmer as Dalton Ashenbrenner Recurring Character: Maggie Lawson as Katie Ashenbrenner |

EPISODES
Ep1: Pilot Episode: It's the first day of school for the Ashenbrenner kids, and unlike their children, Tim and Lori are thrilled and estatic. At school, Jenna is suppose to look out for her younger frosh sister, who ends up getting caught up at her locker and frustrated by not getting it opened. Jenna, at first ignores Sarah's struggle until she overhears some of the popular sophomore girls laughing at her, and she comes to Sarah's defense and helps her-but not before telling off the other girls. Elsewhere, Tim and Lori are asked to go out to dinner with Eric and Lisa, whom are celebrating their 10th wedding anniversary. Ep2: Work Matters: Lisa must deal with one of her favorite residents' dying in her sleep the night before, as Lori must help plan a wedding where the bride (Eva Longeria) is by far one of Lori's least favorite types of brides-a self-absorbed Bridezilla. Elsewhere, Tim begins to feel jealous when Dalton and Riley take more interest in Eric's job when Eric offers to take his nephews to his office at the law firm for a few hours. Ep3: That's No Girl, That's Our Sister: Tim and Eric's much younger kid sister, Katie (Maggie Lawson) makes a surprise visit for the weekend. Katie decides to take her nieces and nephews out to an afternoon at the mall, where Jenna runs into her crush and she accepts Katie's advice to go and talk to him--which turns out disasterly. Before the weekend ends, Katie informs her big brothers that she is going to be dropping out of graduate school to pursue her dream (her one of many dreams) of becoming a nanny for a New York family. At first, her brothers aren't fond of the idea, but after a talk with their wives and Katie, they decide it is her life and its all up to her in the end--which makes Katie thrilled. |
