"It's All Right To Cry" commericial rant - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Those who've been watching TV Land these past few weeks should know what I'm talking about. I remember the song from renting the Free To Be special from the video store some two-odd decades ago. When I first heard this on my TV for "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition", I thought it was a clever, and pretty funny, teaser to hype the show.

When I caught it a second time, I remembered it and laughed a little.

Now, it's just gotten old, and very annoying. Even when I have TV Land on a Lucy or Beaver rerun as background noise, and I hear that song, I flip the channel for a minute, until I'm sure it's gone.

I don't know, I guess my point is, if they insist on ramming this reality acquisition down our throats, they could at least change things up a little. As it stands now, it ruined the memory of a very nice song for me.

I know rants are usually Solomon's department, but I just needed to vent and get this off my chest. Thank you.

It's on during every commercial break. And it's not just on TV Land anymore. I have seen it on NAN and even ABC Family. It is very annoying-LOL
