Madderest Least Favorite Gueststar to visit the Island?

yes, all of the people who visited the island, only to leave the poor castaways stranded were thoroughly annoying. But who was your least favorite?

I couldn't stand that butterfly catcher!!!!

he was to wrapped up in his butterflys to even think about the others.

I am with you on that one. Eva Grubb comes in a close second. Those two were only thinking of themselves to even care abt 7 human beings!!!! Not only that, with the Howells being rescued, can you imagine what the old fuddy duddy butterfly man could have done with the help of the Howell's???? Or even Eva Grubb???? You know the Howell's would have rewarded them generously for getting them off the island.

It would be Harold Hecuba. There was no need for the castaways to suck-up to that arrogant blowhard when they had several options.

1) They could just take the rubber raft with the outboard motor.

2) They could tell Hecuba that if he wanted food and water all he had to do was take them with him when he left.

3) Remind him that when his flunkies arrived, all they needed to do was let Mr. Howell bribe them into helping them off the island. Mr. Howell had more influence and resources than Hecuba.

In every option, Hecuba couldn't do anything about it.

That was John McGiver & I'd have to agree.

Eva turned DIVA after that makeover. I guess in reality I am annoyed with every guest star who could have saved the castaways and for whatever selfish reason, they didn't. The exception is the Eva Gabor character. She merely was dumb. The Professor should have supplied her with a map, directions and so forth, strap it to her waist or something so she didn't lose it. Also, why didn't Eva Gabor's character just state the names of the castaways? Did she forget their names that quick? Why not mention the MINNOW? Surely then the officials would know she had seen them alive? God, she was dumb, but the Professor screwed up big time by not putting that important info IN WRITING for her.

My least favorite was the Japanese WWII soldier who took most of them captive.

yeah, that was pretty dumb of her....

, but anyway. Wut you were saying about selvish reasons.
Some of the people to visit the island, you can almost understand that they're to selvish to rescue the castaways: example, Harold Heckubah.

However, if I was the castaways, Wrongway Feldman would have annoyed the HECK out of me!!!!!

Gosh, sometimes I wonder how the seven didn't crack and just kill any one of the jerks that landed on the island.

Good list, I would say the contestant was the worst though. Can't stand watching his selfishness.

Ericka Tiffany Smith new the Howell's though so even if she didn't have the correct directions she could have said she saw the Howells and they were alive.

Hmmm. This would depend on the criteria. If we're basing "least favourite" on just plain hateful characters, my pics would be:

a) Johnathan Kinkaid, the hunter. Psycho and probably would-be serial killer. Get him off the island, and fast. Rory Calhoun did play him marvellously, though.

b) Harold Hecuba. Arrogant and insufferable.

c) Norbett Wiley. Takes advantage of the castaways' genuine kindness. And like Hecuba, he is never made to pay for his sins.

d) George Barkley. Oh, how we wanted to see him fail!

e) Pancho Rodriguez. I don't know why the castaways forgave him so quickly. That part where he is going to shoot Gilligan is pretty intense.

f) Jackson Farrell. He seems to be relatively reasonable, but when he takes Mary Ann hostage, he's scary. Second only to Johnathan Kinkaid as a truly dangerous villain.

g) The ghost. Tall, dark and Russian, and mighty scary.

If we're basing "least favourite" on performance, I would say:

a) Zsa Zsa Gabor as Erika Tiffany Smith. Zsa Zsa Gabor is Zsa Zsa Gabor in everything she's in. She has no versatility whatever. And my God, there's two of her! How many times can you listen to somebody saying "dahlink?"

b) John McGiver as Lord Beasley Waterford. I didn't find this character mean, just dull. I think he needed to be a little more over the top and mad.

And as far as favourite guests:

a) Vito Scotti as the Japanese Sailor and Boris Balinkoff. His ultimately inept villians are so over the top and lovable. You really never believe they could do anyone any harm.

b) The Wellingtons and Les Brown Jr. as the Mosquitoes. They rock!

c) Harold J. Stone as Duboff. That accent gets me every time.

d) Hans Conreid as Wrongway Feldman. I liked dear old Wrongway. He genuinely seemed very fond of the castaways, and I think he was right: they had found paradise.

e) Eddie Little Sky in three roles as natives. In all those appearances he only ever uttered one English word: girl, but he didn't need words to communicate. He brought fierceness and comedy to his roles: not an easy task!

f) technically not a guest but: Bob Denver as Gilligan's Russian double. I felt so sorry for the poor shmuck! He had a mean boss and absolutely no clue what was going on!
