Flava Flav to do 3rd Season of 'Flavor of Love'
August 4, 2007 -- FLAVA Flav will return for another taste of VH1's "Flavor of Love" - and this time viewers will choose the gals vying for his affection.
Production on the surprise third season hasn't begun yet, but the clock-wearing rapper will again star in "Flavor" - still the highest-rated series in VH1 history and the daddy of spinoffs "I Love New York," "Charm School" and "Rock of Love." The gimmick this time around is that fans can log on to flavoroflovecasting.com and vote on a bevy of women who've submitted themselves as potential "Flavor of Love" contestants. The site will shut down Sept. 4 - and the five women with the most votes will appear on the show (after background checks, etc. to make sure they're on the level). Flava, who rose to fame as a member of Public Enemy, has gotten a lot of mileage out of his association with VH1. He first appeared on "The Surreal Life" and struck up a romance with Brigitte Nielsen.
