Default ThomasE, Watched the short-lived show You Take the Kids and it was a grade of a C-

Nell Carter was ok as the mom, the Father was Coaxh Ricketts off Hanging with Mr. Cooper and the kids were just plained WEIRD. Execpt for the daughter, the three sons were just oddball characters and one of them was trying to be another Urkel. But It was watchable and I wish I can see the episode with Tisha Campbell and Waldo. I see that CBS didn't even try to move the show to a different night, the network just said the hell with it after 4 weeks. But i'm glad I finally have the show. It was our era's checking in-lol

You did not like the show, huh? LOL. I don't know about C-, I would have given it a "B". Am I still the best trader for 2007?

Yes you are because I got to see how bad it was-lol They should have chosen one kid who was in other shows and two nobodys. You can't have three kids that no one ever seen before-lol

Yes because you provided a show that I thought no longer existed

Sorry about the double post. My computer was slow and I must have hit the same key twice. Anyway, Trent Cameron was in another ABC show called "Homeroom" the year before. Trent Cameron was the baby of the bunch.

What are you talking about?
They casted a girl that was on an ep of "Family Matters"
Then you have a young kid that on an ABC show that got canned.
Thats good exposure to me LOL.

LOL. The more that I think about it, both these actors participated in shows that were on ABC. Cusre or not? That is the question. LOL.

The girl who was on Family Matters was a guest not a cast member

The main point is the kids were not familiar to viewers. This show was actually the FLIPSIDE of Roseanne.

Black Family with 2 Sons and 1 Daughter with the Mother as the lead

LOL

Trust me. I already knew what you were trying to say from the get go. I was just trying to muster some points to try to make the actors look somewhat good. LOL. I knew what you were talking about. It would have been nice to have had a more familiar face, but we had Nell Carter and Roger Mosley. That was good enough but the time slot was not!

The slot didn't look all that bad, the competition for the show on Saturday Nights at 8pm was

Parenthood on NBC
Totally hidden Video on Fox
Young Riders on ABC

It was just a bad cast and a bad show-lol

For me, I don't think that a new show like should have debuted on a Sat. Night. There were show that were a lot worse. It was a little on the plain side. I would have let the show run longer giving it time to settle. BTW, if you are not at work online, where are you posting since the laptop does not have wifi?
