JJ embodied James in the 5th season.(especially the Evans Get Involved)

In the 5th season, JJ had that quiet comedy that James had had in the previous seasons. You know that quiet, wry comedy instead of that loud comedy? In The Evans Get Involved, JJ had many James sounding lines......(espeically in the EGI)

"Maybe Andrew Young's afraid to open up his mouth."(after Thelma says , "Maybe Penny's tellling the truth.")

"If Penny fell, her mother helped her down"(Thelma tells him that Pennny says she fell)

"The rug keeps getting lumpier and lumpier."(after Willona says people seem to be pushing Penny's abuse under the rug)


"You'd say you fell too if Muhammad Ali was your mother." (again, after Thelma says "Penny says she fell".)

"Hey mama, you ain't doubled park out there. Get a number and wait in line
"And at this rate you never will!(after Charlene complains about their late date after seeing that Penny was in pain).

'I hope your dog dies."(after a nurse says she wants to give JJ a tongue depressor, turning him down for a date).
