What they should do is have an "Era by Era Summer"
For example, whenever they want to start their summer stuff: the first week would be only of shows from the 50's (7 shows, 1 all-night marathon each night of the week). The next week of 60s... up until the 90s shows. I realize that will only be 5 weeks but after the 90s, then restart with the 50s They can either use different 50s shows if they have the rights or use the same shows but show different episodes not to get repetitive. Forgot to mention, that each one night marathon would be a Classic episodes/Best of marathon type of thing. What do you all think of my idea? |

It could work but maybe it should be a decade a night like the 50's-90's where Monday could be called Monday in black and white (the 50's) Tuesday drive-in (the 60's) Disco Wednesday (the 70's) Family Fun Thursday (the 80's since there were a lot of family sitcoms NAN could air) TGIF (the 90's with TGIF being a reference to hte ABC block of course they would need to get the rights for the name) Then the Weekend could be used for their originals like Fatherhood and Hi-Jinks. Oh yea another thing each night would have three shows of marathons from that decade like the 80's could have at 9pm Alf, 12am could be Family Ties and 3am could be The Jeffersons. So what do u think?

I know, they'd find a way to screw it up.
