Damm I didn't know it was around since 1984, I just saw on a commercial that they are offering a large pizza for 23 cents if u big a large pizza. Papa John's was not in Philly in the 90's. I never even heard of it until this decade

I never had any before like 2005 lol, but it's my favorite pizza in the area. And, it just moved higher up my overall list because it's having a "Tour de Cheesestick" sale in honor of my Tour de France lol!

My favorite pizza place ever is still Imo's, but I'm not sure if anyone's ever heard of it?

Wow, Papa John's has been around that long?? I think they've only been in the Cleveland area since the mid-90s. In any case, congrats to them.

Solomon, do you order your pizza with PICKLES?

Just kidding.

We have a Papa John's here, but I never had it. I prefer Toppers Pizza. This chain, I believe, is only here in Southern California.

I'm not sure about them as carnival food. I thought it was a southern thing but then I saw a story about a place in NYC that deep-frys just about anything, including Twinkies & Snickers bars. So I would think that pickles are on the menu, too.

Yeah, the fried pickles and twinkies and other stuff is featured at our county fair. I also seen them in Las Vegas, I just remembered.
