Brian I been enjoying "Bronx is Burning" but I'm not sure what Son of Sam has to do - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

with the Yankees 1977 Season. I don't mind but I was just wondering what does the serial killer have to do with the Yankees 77 season? Now if there was a program or movie called-"New York City in the Summer of 1977" then everything would fit like the Son of Sam and the Blackout

Because that is what made it hot during the summer. Not only the weather, but the serial killer himself. It was a memorable year for the people of New York. Hence, Bronx is Burning. The Yankees were HOT, the weather was HOT and that bastard D. Berkowitz was HOT in that he was the headlines, he was wanted, he put the fear in New York, etc.
