Default Catlover some more fun facts for you since I'm in a researching mood-lol

These are the TV shows that Good times could not compete with after reaching the 7th spot in the Ratings after season 2. After the 74-75 season, these shows below all contributed to the demise of Good times on the CBS lineup

1975-76-Good Times could not compete with Happy Days and Laverne Shirley on Tuesday Nights. CBS eveb tried to move it opposite Happy days and have the show compete with Laverne and Shirley but it didn't work

1976-77-Good Times could not compete with Bionic Woman on Wenesday Nights

1977-78-Good Times could not compete with Eight is Enough on Wenesday Nights or Welcome Back Kotter on Monday Nights when moved to Mondays

1978-79-Good Times could not compete with CHIPS on Saturday Nights which led to a 6 month Hiatus and then cancellation.

All those shows that GT were against, were shows that I loved to watch. It was a no-brainer that no show should be pitted against Happy Days. Tuesday nights was all abt Happy Days and Laverne & Shirley.

Good Times dominated Happy Days on Tuesday Nights in the 74-75 season but Happy got rid of those-"ROCK AROUND THE CLOCK" opening credits and Fonzie moves above the Cunningham and it was nothing that could be done-lol

Yea that's the main reason I didn't watch Good Times regularly in it's original run.

I know that. But I was mentioning when it was Tuesday nights and Happy Days & Laverne and Shirley were the Tuesday night block. When Laverne & Shirley were shown right after Happy Days, by then it wasn't the early Happy Days. It was now, the Fonzie Show.
