Rules: Band's or duos must have actually recorded under the names mentioned. Kool and the Gang would be an acceptable answer while Phil Collins and Genesis would not and yes, That's what some of the idiot radio announcers around here call them.

Try to limit yourself to no more than 3 per post in order to give someone else a chance. Name 3 then wait until someone else has posted before doing so again.
I've already mentioned Kool and the Gang and I'll add:

Desmond Child and Rogue
Sam the Sham and the Pharoahs

ok...not sure if I get this but....Buddy Holly recorded under both his own name, and as the Crickets; his bandmate drummer Jerry Allison recorded as both a Cricket and as "Ivan" ( his middle name ) on the original version of "Real Wild Child" < Thats right, "Real Wild Child, by Ivan" was originally recorded by Buddy Holly and the Crickets, with Jerry Allison singing, under another name!!

Donny and Marie Osmond would count since they recorded under that name. I don't think there were any recordings released under the name David Cassidy and the Partridge Family but if someone proves me wrong then I'll accept it.
