Were there any other NYC Sitcoms besides Diffrent Strokes and All in the Family that
made fun of "New Jersey" I noticed both shows make wisecracks about the state of New Jersey and was wondering if any other NYC shows did the same

I don't know but the reason new yorkers are depressed is because the light at the end of the tunnel is new jersey

Barney Miller did at least once. In the Season 2 episode "Ambush", Chano and Harris come in the squadroom reeking of garbage (some bystanders witnessing the cops arrest someone threw trash at them). Det. Kelly then remarks on the foul smell: "What happened, you guys come back by way of Newark?"
