What do you think the September schedule for Nick @ Nite will be? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

With Home Improvement and George Lopez coming, and the contracts for Roseanne and Full House ending, what do you think NAN will do with their schedule for September and October? In my opinion, they might be making a few major time slot changes, after they do the introduction marathon for Home Improvement, but nothing else besides that.

What's New: Home Improvement, George Lopez
What's Renewed: Full House, Roseanne
What's Gone: Designing Women, HiJinks

Sunday-Thursday:
9:00 AFV
9:30 Full House
10:00 Home Improvement
10:30 George Lopez
11:00 Fresh Prince
11:30 Fresh Prince
12:00 Roseanne
12:30 Roseanne
1:00 The Cosby Show
1:30-5:00 Rotation of Roseanne, Fresh Prince, Cosby, Home Improvement (October)
5:00 Murphy Brown
5:30 Full House

Friday-Saturday:
10:00 Home Improvement
10:30 George Lopez
11:00 Fresh Prince
11:30 Fresh Prince
12:00 Roseanne
12:30 Roseanne
1:00 The Cosby Show

Out of all cable television, this has to be one of the easiest channels to program for.

I think there's going to be a week long marathon event for Home Improvement....A few months ago, I thought it might be N@N`s new big hit, but recently I've been having second thoughts. I'm not sure how well the show will do.

I have a feeling George Lopez will bomb, and after a few weeks, it will be shoved to the wee hours.

I think Murphy Brown will only be on weekends this fall.

And I like your lineup, but I think your giving N@N too much credit. There's probably going to be 2 hours of Fresh Prince and Roseanne every night, and a half hour each for all their other shows.

If Home Improvement is a hit they will overplay like they do with Stale Prince, if not, it will be on at 5am before disappearing. They hold guns to the show's heads and expect them be a major hit or a dud.

Roseanne and Full House have not been renewed yet, but I'm guessing both will be. And, I agree about what you said about Home Improvement and George Lopez. THe show was really popular originally, and is really popular on TBS and in DVD sales, but how well can it do on NAN? And, George Lopez is for sure going to bomb, which is why I said it will be shoved to 5am, sharing the slot with Murphy Brown. For some reason, I'm thinking their gonna keep Murphy on this fall, but I don't know why.

And, 2 hours of Fresh Prince/Roseanne is even a lot for NAN. To make room for Home Improvement, I put Roseanne at midnight, because that's something NAN would do.
