When someone asks for your number do you give them your cell phone number or your home phone number?

it depends on who's calling and their reason for calling me up. it would be wrong for me to give out my phone number to certain strangers of whom i don't know personally. but if it was someone at work, university, the police or of whom is a friend of mine then yes

Cell
I don't even bother with a home phone anymore. I have free eves and weekend paln and I work during the day so there is really no need for a home line |

Since I haven't had a home phone for a couple of years now, my cell phone # is the only one I can give out to the dozens of babes who ask for it every night.
Okay, that last part I made up. Make that two. Okay, none. I'm going back to bed.

If it's something legit, like for a job or whatever I'll give them my home phone because I barely even have my cell turned on. If it's something else and if I even WANT to give my number probably my cell phone.
Just last week while at work another drunk guy was hitting on me, except this one had the nerve to ask for my phone number! Yeah, MAYBE if he was sober, yeah. After he was talking to me for awhile, after the game I'm out on the field just guarding like the ushers usually do (this is my Miller Park job) and then the guy motions over to me. He's like "Would it be any trouble get your phone number?" I'm just like "uhhh, no sorry." then he wants to know if I want his phone number. I just said no then he left. Yeah, I can be pretty forward and to the point if I don't want to give my phone number. Plus, this guy looked kind of old for me (early 30's?). |

I try to avoid giving out my number at all. I hate phone calls.
