I only saw the very end of Florence's Union where Whittendale makes his first appearance. Whittendale says, "I hold your lease" or something to that effect and George replies, "Well I pay the rent so GET OUT!" Does anyone know what caused George to do a 180 after kissing up to Whittendale in so many previous episodes. I know this episode was about the maids in the building organizing, but why would George get so hot and bothered over something like that?

Because Whittendale disrespected Louise and that's what caused him to snap. Up until that point, he was not supporting the Maids having a Union |
