endora and samantha never hug. do they?

Sam hugged Endora in Season 1's "Help, Help, Don't Save Me". She also kissed her mom when Endora came over to meet Darrin for the first time ("Mother Meets What's-His-Name", also Season 1). Endora and Darrin (!) hug in "And Then There Were Three" (Season 2) after the birth of Tabitha.

Even though Samantha and Endora never hugged or kissed all that much on camera, and were almost always at odds, there never was a doubt that they loved each other very much. There are some out there who are not physically demonstrative and I guess Endora was one of them!!

yeah i know they kiss quite a bit, but hugging, not really. besides when tab is born, does endora ever cry?

When Sam was playing solitaire, and Endora popped in. Sam was so lonely that she gave her mother a big hug.

i found the solitaire part...it's actually in a different first season episode. witch or wife, i think. and i answered my own question about endora crying...in allergic to macedonian dodo birds she cries when she thinks durwood hates her.

You're right - that was Witch or Wife. I knew it was the first season. Good catch!!

She did cry in Season 4 Allergic to Macedonian Do Do Birds. She acts and talks like she is so helpless cause she lost her powers and still drove Darrin crazy. It hurt Endora's feelings and she cried to Sam that "He hates me". Endora couldn't even lift a pot of coffee, it was funny she told Darrin in a helpless tone, "It's heavy".
