Arguably, from the second season on it became far too inconsistent, and the writing was worse and worse. Yes, it became outrageously popular, and was the top rated show (briefly) in a middle season. However, the numerous dropped storylines, dumb storylines, and musical now-you-see-them, now-you-don't cast changes made for bad TV.

I got my mother Dynasty The Second Season DVD for Mother's Day along with the Dynasty The First Season DVD and she is gonna love it when I give it to her this Sunday. After watching the DVD sets with Mom I'll write you and tell you what Mom and I thought of them
