Get Ready, Get Set (7th)

----Store Edna's Edibles----

Blair: Natalie will you move? (runs into Nat on teh way into store)
Nat: Jeez Blair calm down...
Blair: Look, if I dont get an A on this midterm the chances of me passing at the same chances of Jo being nice to me!! (sits at a table)
Tootie: Boy are you SOL!
Mrs. G: Tootie!! watch it! (points finger at tootie and calmly says) Blair whats wrong? (sits next to blair)
Blair: I dont understand this book!
Mrs. G: (Picks book up) oh... i read this book when i was little, it's about a girl and a guy who.. wait did you even read the book?
Blair: Maybe...
Mrs. G: (looks at her with angry face)
Blair: no!
Mrs. G: Then im not goint to help you pass!! (gets up and starts scrubing counters)
Blair: Come on Mrs. Garrett!! (follows Mrs. G and begs)
Mrs. G: NO!!
Jo and Bill: (walk into store and bill has arm around jo)
Mrs. G: hey jo... bill... how was lunch?
Blair: (walks back to table and starts reading book)
Jo: great!! (looks at bill and won't turn head)
Mrs. G: Oh...
Nat: (says to Tootie) looks like things are getting hot n heavy over there!
Tootie: (Laughs) yea and maybe they'll be having breakfast, lunch, and dinner with eachother!!
Nat: (laughs) and she'll be spending the night at his house too!!
Mrs. G: girls!!
Jo: No Mrs. G its ok... they arent too far off (looks at Bill and smiles)
Mrs. G: (thinks about it.. grabs jos aprond and walks and hands it to her) Jo.. umm (taps her and hands her her apron)
Jo: oh thanks mrs. g! (takes apron and puts it on)
Bill: well jo, ive got to go, but ill pick you p at 7ok?
jo: sure! (kisses him)
Nat: told ya tootie!! (laughs)
Mrs. G: Natalie!! (loks at jo and bill and smiles)
Bill: (leaves)
Jo: now there goes one sweet guy!!
mrs. g: (laughs) ok maybe things are getting hot n heavey!! (wiggles body when says that)
Jo: bill is so sweet! I feel special when im with him!! I think hes teh one! (smiles and walk out of shop area)
Mrs. G: (says to self) waht does she mean by the one?
Nat: Hope she's not planning to get married... again!!
Mrs. G: No... I thinks he knows that shes still to you...

----Girls' Bedroom----

Jo: (sits at desk looking a a picture oh Bill smiling)
Nat: hey JO! Looking at bill again! god you are really in love!!
Jo: yea... i am! (smiles)
Tootie: So waht did you mean by the one downstairs?
Jo: well, me and bill have been talking...(gets up and sits on own bed)
Tootie: and... (follows Jo)
Jo: and... i think we're gong to take our relationship to the next level
Nat: The next level!! (says to tootie) what level they at now?
Tootie: are you talking about have... (nods head) making... (nods head)
JO: Yes... Jeez... YES! YES! YES! (shouts angrily)
Nat: Am i hearing this!?!
Jo: do you have ears?!?
Nat: yes...
Jo: Then yes you are!!
Blair: (walks in) hey what are you guys talking about?
Tootie: Bill and Jo are gong to have... (mouths the word sex)
Blair: Sex!!
Nat: Yes!! Yes!!
Blair: Jo are you crazy!! what if you get pregnant!?!
Jo: thats why im talking these! (pull out birth control pills and sets them on the desk)
Blair: Jo are you serious!!
Jo:do you see me laughing?!?
Nat: this is a big decision and youve truley thought about it?
Jo: you guys! dont worry about it!!
Mrs. G: (walks in) Jo, Tootie, Natalie... its your turn in the store!!
Tootie: common Nat lets go...
Tootie, Nat, and Jo: (leave bedroom)
Mrs. G: Hey Blair! hows your book comming?
Blair: I still dont get this! (leads Mrs. G to book for help)
Mrs. G: (follows Blair and finds birth control pill and picks them up) whats this? (looks concerened)
Blair: umm... pills?
Mrs. G: well yes Blair I can see that!! (says loudly) are these yours? (concerned)
blair: umm... no... (tries to cover for Jo)
mrs. G: whos are they? (says angirly yet concerened)
Blair: Well...
Mrs. G: common Blair!! Spill it!
Blair: (sighs) theyre jos...
Mrs. G: really?!?! Why does she need birth control pills? Is she planning to ahve sex?
Blair: Well, I really dont know the whole story! Mrs. Garrett I tried to talk her out of it! But she thinks everything will be fine!!
Mrs. G: Oh.. I see!! jo has a better head than that whast gong on!?! (arms fly in air)

Jo: (scrubs counter)
MRs. G: (walks in) Jo can we talk? (has pills being back)
Jo: Yea sure Mrs. G but you'll have to make it quick bill will be here soon!
Mrs. G: shall we go into the living room? (leads jo to living toom)

----Living Room----

Mrs. G: (pulls pills out) what are these?
JO: (sits on couch)
MRs. G: (sits next to jo) Jo... is there something you want to talk about?
Jo: No!! Not really!!
Mrs. G: JO!! (shouts) why do you have these? are you and bill planning to... to...?
Jo: No!!!(looks down) well... maybe! Its non of your business!!
Mrs. G: Jo, do you realize all of the respnsibilities that come with this decision! What happens if you get pregnant or something else happens!! (shouts and waves arms) Jo... (shakes head) I thought you had better sense than that!! (stomps foot)
Jo: Mrs. Garrett!! I've thought it all over and Im gong to do what i want!!
Mrs. G: Jo look! I really think you're making a big mistake!! (says loudly) What if Bill isnt the one you want to marry (says very loud) or waht it...
Tootie: (walks in and interupts) Im sorry to interupt but bill's waiting for you in the store...
Jo: (looks at mrs. garrett)
Mrs. G: (shakes head in disappointement hoping Jo'll change her mind)
Jo: (walks to see bill)
Tootie: soo... what happened? (says to Mrs. G) Did you change her mind about her and BIll.. you know!!
Mrs. G: (looks disappointed) No... this is one time where i dont think i can get through to her...(Looks extremely worried and helpless) I hope she can get it together!

Jo: Hi bill (smiles) I'll be right back... (leaves)
Mrs. G and Tootie: (walk into store)
Blair: I hope you know what you are doing.. BILL! (walks past him)
Bill: (smiles oddly)
Blair: (whispers to Toowi) Did Mrs. Garrett talk her out of it?
Tootie: No!! now waht?
Blair: I dont know!
Nat: Maybe we should go lock her in the bedroom!
Mrs. G: No Natalie!! (sighs in anger) Hopefully... she'll change her mind!!
Jo: (walks in) Ok bill, read to go?
Bill: Up! All set! cant wat til dinner!
Mrs. G: oh...? wahts so special about dinner?
Bill: I'llbe with jo... waht else could make it special?
Tootie: Oh... i could think of something!
Mrs. G: Tootie!! (nudges tootie with elbow) Have a good time!
Tootei: Not that great of a time!!
Mrs. G: (slaps tootie) But Jo... remember!!

----Living Room----

Jo: (comes in the front door looking sad)
Mrs. G: HI jo... (angrily)
Jo: Hi Mrs. G... jsut cool it!! (gets mad)
Mrs. G: Jo wahts wrong? wasnt the evening waht you wanted it to be?
Jo: no... what do you care! (tries to tough it out)
Mrs. G: Jo... (walks to jo) What happened?
Jo: you'll be happy to know that we didnt have sex!!
Mrs. G: (sigh of relif) Oh JO, you dont know how pleased i am to hear you say that!! But why so sad?
Jo: Becuase BILL dumped me after i said no!! That slim ball!!
MRs. G: So thats what this was about! If you didnt have sex with bill it would be the end of your relationship (kind of smiles)

Mrs. G: Oh jo!! waht is from with you read lately! if a guy makis you think you have to have sex with him to keep him, hes not worth it! He has to like you for ou (points finger at jo) and not for your body! (runs hand down side of jos body)
Jo: yea, but he just made it seem like it wasnt that bid of a deal like all of you guys made it seem!
Mrs. G: jo, losing your... virginity... is a big deal!! and i am just glad that you made the right decision! I'm proud of you Jo!! (smiles and hugs her)
Jo: I just felt (starts to cry and back up) Like i Loved him... (sits on couch)

ve or not or even if its just a relationship love... 2 months isnt that long a a time... ti may seem like enough but its really not!

B: My friends don't wear polyester! They don't drive motorcycles or ramblers! They don't buy their shoes from the supermarket!

WOW. When I read this, I was about ready to cry! You totally write the best episodes! The actual writers couldn't do much better!

WOW!!! you brought back one of my OLD OLD OLD scripts!!! hehe... notice how STUPID i was!!! hehe.. this was one of the FIRST FIRST scritps i EVER wrote!! i even said it was in the 7th seaosn and they didn't even HAVE edna's edibles in the 7th season!! i wrote this episode when i had only sene like a few season 5 and 6 episodes.. hehe.. so i didnt know the characters very well.. i wrote this during the run of the 2nd marathon!! i remember.. that is scary! cuz that means i wrote that thing over 5 months ago!! WOW!! hehe

glad you liked it... maybe i should bring some of my old scripts back to the baord... what do you think?
