A Date to Remember

It was Saturday morning and Blair, Tootie, and Natalie were sitting around the kitchen table eating breakfast. Mrs. Garett was standing by the counter nervously because Jo had been gone the entire night with her new boyfriend and she still has not returned.

"Where could Jo possibly be?!" Mrs. Garett said with fury. She was starting to get very mad since she still had not come home. "Well you know Jo..for all we know she could be in the Bronx right now!" Blair said. "Blair! Don't say that!" Mrs. Garett replied. "Yeah..ya never know what could happen." Natalie said. Mrs. Garett threw Natalie a look.

It was now about two o'clock and Blair was sitting on the couch watching TV alone in the living room. Suddenly Jo came through the door. " Well!! (Gets up) It's about time you come home!" Blair said. Jo gave her a look saying 'I don't wanna talk about it'. Blair knew something was wrong. Jo then walked upstairs fast before Blair could say anything.

Jo sat on the bed in the girl's room alone and looked down at the ground and began thinking about many things...one of the main things she was thinking of is the reason she
was out so late.

Mrs. Garett then came in the girls room. "Jo!! There you are!!!! When did you come home?!?!" Mrs. Garett said releived. "Oh..a while ago" Jo replied dully. "Why were you out so late?" said Mrs. Garett. "Mrs. G...I know your just trying to help, but I don't wanna talk about it okay?" she said. "(Sighs) Alright.." Mrs. Garett then leaved, knowing something was not right. And she was right -- something wasn't right with Jo.

At dinner, Jo didn't show at the table. She was still upstairs in her room. "Mrs. Garett...I am starting to think somethings wrong with Jo", Blair said. "I am too, Blair.." All of the sudden Jo appeared at the staircase. "NOTHING is wrong!!" Jo said furiously. "Alright!!! Fine Jo!! (Gets up) Ya know what..all you do is raise your voice!" she said. "I do it for a reason!" she replied. "And what's that reason??" Blair said almost yelling. "I DON'T WANNA TALK ABOUT IT!! NOW IF 'SOMETHINES NOT RIGHT' IS THE ONLY THING YOUR GONNA TALK ABOUT THEM I AM OUT!" Jo yelled and she stormed out of the house. Mrs. Garett and the girls were surprised at how Jo acted.

Jo decided to go for a ride on her motorycycle. The date she had last night did not turn out the way she wanted it to. As Jo rode her motorcycle, she began thinking of many things. How she raised her voice to Blair...the date..and how she was so rude to Mrs. Garett. Jo then stopped her bike on the side of the rode and walked towards a tree in the park nearby. She sat down against the tree as tears slowly rolled down her cheeks as she thought about the date -- and what excactly happened.


Guys..just to let you know I currently started another fan fiction called 'Unexcpected'. Well I am gonna continue writing on both this and that fan fiction. So 'Unexcpected' is NOT abandoned! Well anyways..how do you guys like this so far??

Jo then rose from the spot she was in and walked around the park for a while -- all she wanted was to be alone at that moment. She, once again, thought of the date. She then recognized everything that happened from a different point of view. She looked up at the sky and let out heavy tears, kneeling on the ground. She then, while sobbing, said "Why....Why..."

At the house, Blair was sitting on the couch. "Well it looks like Jo ditched us once again, Mrs. Garett" she said. "You know girls, I am started to get really fed up with this. I want to know what is going on with her!! This must be serious!!" she said. "Well whatever it is I am gonna stay outta it" Tootie said. All of the sudden Jo walked in. "Jo!!!!! Where were you again?!" Mrs. Garett said. Jo replied toughly. "Out". She then jetted upstairs fast.

Mrs. Garett followed upstairs and found Jo sitting on the bed crying. "Jo! What's wrong??" She said. "Mrs. Garett GET OUT!" Jo yelled. "I am sick of having all you guys in my personal life! I am 18! I don't need you anymore!!" she yelled. "Fine Jo. I understand" Mrs. Garett then left. Jo then got a flashback of the date...

Her date, John was sitting on the couch with her watching TV. All of the sudden he got up and asked her a question. In the flashback his lips were moving, but nothing was coming out. It showed Jo give a horrible face and John let out anger. It showed John yelling and then the flashback went away.

Another flashback appeared then. It showed Jo walking on a rode home, crying. Cars were driving by and she had her head down. Tears were rolling down her cheeks. She kept walking, and the flashback went blank.

Jo finished remembering flashbacks and she rose from the bed. She looked out the window and thought. She thought of lots of things. All of the sudden she heard someone knock on the door. Jo ran downstairs and found a police man there.

"Is this the home of Joanne Polnicheck?" He said, misprouncing her name. "Yes...Why?" Mrs. Garett asked. Jo stood on the staircase and the officer talked more. "Well it is belived that Jo was on a date last night with John Marine? "And..." Mrs. Garett said. "Well..John was found in his home this afternoon dead" Mrs. Garett gasped, Blair was shocked, and Jo then remembered the entire date as horror filled her heart. Jo then ran past the girls and officer outside, and left.

Guys..sorry but I gotta go..how is it??

After the police man left, Mrs. Garett, Blair, Tootie, and Natalie were sitting at the kitchen table thinking. "Mrs. Garett...Jo didn't kill John did she??" she said softly. Mrs. Garett went pale. Tootie and Natalie looked at each other. "I doubt it...Jo would never kill!!" Tootie said. "Well...I hope not..." Natalie replied.

About four hours passed and Jo was still riding around town on her motorycycle. She did not want anyone she knew to see or talk to her. Especially the girls. She wasn't a murderer..no..she didnt kill anyone physically...but she felt as she killed John spiritually by what happened on the date. Jo then decided to go home. She felt that she needed too..she didnt want to hurt anyone's hearts anymore.

Jo walked inside the house to find Mrs. Garett sitting on the couch. "Jo!!" she said. "Where were you?!" she said. "Mrs. Garett...I'm sorry about everything. How I was rude..all that junk" "It's alright, Jo" Mrs. Garett said. "But...did you kill John??" she said.

"Well...not physically. But in his heart...I feel like I did." she replied. "What do you mean??" Mrs. Garett said. "Well..heres what happened. I went to his house for the date and...he wanted to make me loose my virginity." she said. Mrs. Garett gasped. "Then what?" Mrs. Garett said. "Well...I said no...and...he got mad....and...(lets out tears) Mrs. Garett he raped me..."Mrs. Garett gasped loud. "Jo!!! Then what happened?!" Jo began to talk more. "Well...then I punched him and he fell down, and I ran out of the house and had to walk home. That's why i was so late! And I felt like I put him down!! That's why I feel so bad!!" she said while sobbing.

"Jo..Jo...it'll be alright, it'll be alright..." Mrs. Garett said. Jo continued to sob, knowing that the rape was a scar that would forever be in her life. As the camera backed away from them and got farther and farther, the camera showed Jo crying in Mrs. Garett's arms. Mrs. Garett hugged Jo, and conforted her. But Mrs. Garett knew this would not be easy to handle. But they would just get through it.

Guys..I hope you liked the ending!! I bet if this was a real episode it'would be controversal..lol...I am trying to think of ideas for another story tonight.
