around the couch with their arms stuck out like J.J in the season 5 opening credits was from an actual episode?-lol I used always say to myself-"what episode is that from I don;t remember that scene-lol

I did too. Maybe it was cut out of one episode.

No it was a scene that was just made for the opening credits because in the first ep of season 5, penny is not walking around the couch with willona, j.j. thelma, and michael, it's not until she was introuduced to the show. That's how i knew it wasn't from an actual episode

Actually, it was from an actual episode. I saw the episode recently but can't remember the name. I'm not like you, Solomon. I don't read the titles of the episodes.....I didn't back then and I don't now.

I seem to recall during the first run that they were singing to a song and for the life of me I think it had something to do with a bee...or am I thinking of another episode? I know that scene exists though, I remember it from the first run.

That scene is not from a EPISODE, it has two versions in the opening credits

In the first ep of season 5, In the opening credits Willona, J.J, Michael, and Thelma are walking around the couch without Penny because no one knew who she was yet because she had yet to be introduced. But later in the season, Penny is seen walking with them around the couch in the opening because by mid season viewers were familiar with the penny character

You couldn't have saw that scene because no of them are saying anything-LOL When they are walking around the couch they are just smiling and not talking. So why would a scene like that be in a episode?????????? There is no such scene in a season 5 ep

I believe J.J. was singing a song and then they started dancing imitating something, I believe they were imitating J.J. with that thing he does with his hands, they were just going around the couch and the audience was laughing.

I never seen it on the DVD, but I know that the DVD's are not 100 percent perfect. My understanding is that the Columbia House versions are the only sets that have GT UNCUT, UNEDITED, etc. That's what I read.

If someone here has that set, they can answer that question. I just know I seen it during its first run. I think I seen it during ONE SYNDICATION, but have never seen it since that syndicated time, which was ages ago.

That scene was one of those "filler" moments.
