The Best of '06/'07 disc for SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE is coming soon, this August 28th to be exact. The disc will carry a low price tag (yet to be determined) and will showcase 84 minutes of pure comedy gold from the latest season of SNL. A bonus disc featuring deleted 30 ROCK scenes will also come with the package and two cut-before-broadcast sketches accompanied by a barrage of Weekend Update bloopers featuring Seth Meyers and Amy Poehler and commentary by cast and crew. The catch--- you'll only find this disc if you're wandering around town and are hankerin' for a cup of joe. Right now you probably are confused, but let me straighten things out for you. Starbucks and Universal have struck a deal to release this disc solely for purchase in the coffee-chain's cafes across the country. Canadians have a different distribution plan though, which I won't go into detail here, but here's the TSoD link which lays it all down on the line, including a rather simple cover art.
