Just discovered this great website! I'm eager to spend more time on here discussing the show. I wish the re-runs still came on regular cable. I've got the ghosts, bizarre murders, and strange legends dvds.....just ordered the "best of" and will get the UFO one soon also.
Anyway, just thinking back...does anyone remember a pretty creepy case about this older couple that lived in a rural area (maybe farmland in Ohio) that received constant threats in their home by someone ---the suspect made several calls never saying anything, vandalized and burglarized the house....it got so bad that the husband staked out the place and never found anything, but during the stake out the wife was inside and heard banging on the windows. I just remember it being a pretty creepy deal. Rural areas are scary enough at night---just remembering that case to be pretty eerie. Also, with regard to the Tallman's Ghost case...does anyone have anymore information on the house? I just got back from a business trip in Milwaukee and we actually have a facility in Horicon though we weren't required to visit this time. I wanted to make the 45 min. drive and possibly find the house but didn't get a chance to. Someone on a website thought it had burned down. With some research, the address appears to be 514 Larrabee St. Anyone live around Milwaukee and ever been by the house? |

Your first case is that of Dorothy and Bill Wacker who were often harassed by an unknown assailant. Some here believe that it was actually Bill Wacker who was attacking his wife for unknown reasons. Either way I think a member of this forum did some research awhile back and discovered that Bill Wacker is dead. So if he was behind the attacks they now have obviously stopped. No idea if Dorothy Wacker is still alive.

There is quite a bit of info on the Tallman's Ghost on the web. I came across a ghost message board that talked about it. The house was on Larrabee St. although I'm not sure if its still standing or not. They also mentioned that there is a lengthy story about the case on a book titled "Haunted America" by Michael Norman & Beth Scott. |

They show the outside of the actual house on UM, since you know the street maybe you can recognize it. That's what I had to do when I went to look at Darlie Routier's house. Good luck, let us know what you see

Can anyone tell me what part of Ohio the Wacker story took place in? And if so, is it anywhere near Massillon, OH? I think I may be able to solve this mystery or at least get an update on it if so!

I would still love to know what that relative saw in the Tallman's Ghost case. Also, did they not say at the end of that segment that another family had moved into the house but reported no problems?
