Lauren Bessette- November 5, 1964 – July 16, 1999 (sister of Carolyn)

I remember that day too. We were on vacation and my dad stayed in the hotel room the whole time watching the news and hoping they would find him alive.
Very sad.

I remember this day really well. Two friends and I were in San Francisco and we had just gotten back from dinner. We turned on the television and they were doing a special report on John F. Kennedy Jr.'s death. It was such a terrible tragedy.

It seems like yesterday. I remember my mother called and told me. I hated telling my husband when he woke up. He loved President Kennedy. I really think that had John lived that he would have gotten into politics, and who knows where from there. We'll never know.

Such a tragedy for three young lives. I'm sure their last moments were filled with terror, those poor souls.

I remember waking up on a saturday morning and seeing this on tv and never knew who He was until that day. I had never heard of him before that day

I was in New York on vacation when this happened, and I remember it clearly people on the streets talking about it and hoping that they would be alive, sadly it didn't happen. I can't believe it has been 8 years already.
