Bill Cosby's Fat Albert and just tweaked it and changed it around a little. He sure did because he never said HEY, HEY, HEY, we all know that for the entire series he was saying
HAY, HAY, HAY-lol Fat Albert my A$$-lol |

Dwayne's version sounds real gay compared to Fat Albert's. LOL

There is no question that, when I first heard Dwain's "Hey, Hey, Hey!", I thought of Fat Albert. Dwain simply says it in a different tone of voice and puts the accent in different places. However, I never associated Dwain's with being gay. But then, I am not an expect on gay culture or gay termonology. There is one thing about both Dwain and Fat Albert that I think is an interesting coincidence. The fact that I am referring to is that, in both cases, it is implied that the character is from a, one child, family. In both shows, we see characters from a wide range of backgrounds. Each character was different in terms of the size of his or her family. However, these two character both appeared to be an only child. Also, in both series, when it first started, the vast majority of the characters were black. Both shows took place in inner city neighborhoods in which there was very little contact with people of other races and religions. In later episodes of both shows, they had interactions with people of other ethnicities as a result of bussing and traffic in and out of the neighborhoods. I would like to conclude by pointing out that, in addition being black, Heywood Nelson is also a member of another minority group. He is left-handed!
