Default Question for those of you who don't live with your parents

How often do you visit them? I told some girl that I see my mom every other month and she was so shocked to hear that. I mean between me having my own life and working mon to fri how often am I going to see my mom?-lol She does live 15 min away but I still have my own life. So does anyone on here who doesn't live with their parents visit them more than once a month?

I used to visit my parents at least twice a month. Sometimes, just to drop in for an hour by myself on a Saturday afternoon in between errands....or my husband and I would have them over for dinner or they would have us for over for dinner.

On average once a year. My mom lives on the other side of Texas.

Recently I've seen her a lot more frequently due to my Dad's passing. But under ordinary circumstances, it's once a year.

I speak with her every day over the phone.

My parents live about an hr away from me, and I see them every weekend. They keep my daughters almost every weekend.

I used to visit my dad weekly at his place of business. Usually when I was running errands on that side of town I would drop by. Or I would see him at my sister's house for either breakfast or if she was having a barbecue. Not a month went by that I didn't see my dad.

I see my sister every Monday. She and I count money at her work. She works at the local church as the financial officer and she asked me if I wouldn't mind helping out. I love it. I get to spend 3 to 4 hours with my beloved sister, laughing, joking, venting, whatever comes to mind. I try and have breakfast at her house every Saturday morning.

I visit my mom 2 or 3 times a month usually on a Sunday. She lives 35 miles away in the next county. My dad passed away in 2003 but I stop by his grave-site 3 or 4 times a year.

Me, Lor and Lilly go over to my moms house about 1-2 a week and we meet her for lunch every Wednesday. Its hard to stay away, Lor loves her grandmother. She lives about 40 minutes away. I never see my dad and he lives about 10 minutes away.
