Default Grade the seasons of Three's Company and explain the reason for your grade

Season 1 was a C to me, very short and not a lot of excitment and a season i don;t like to watch that much.

Season 2 was a B-, the show was still watchable but there were some dull eps in this season like Coffe tea or Jack.

Season 3, was a B because this is when the show took off and Larry's role expanded and it didn;t slow down until 6 years later.

Season 4 was a A, the best season of the entire series, very creative and fun eps to watch and it was very hard to get bored

Season 5 was a B+, Chrissy was gone and there was still some great eps but u can see something was missing

Season 6 was a B+, Terri was a breath of fresh of air, and this was a season that included John Ritter's best ep-"up in the air"

Season 7 was a B+, another strong season with some very creative and fun eps like Extra, Extra, and the dentist ep. Not too many dull moments

Season 8 was actually a C-, very dull season, several dull eps and you can get a feel that the show was running out of ideas.

Season One - B
The episodes were good but there were only six of them. Good start to the show.

Season Two - B+
Pretty good season and the episodes were a little better than season one.

Season Three - A
Great season with great episodes. I think this is when the show started to take off. We got to see more of Larry.

Season Four - A+
My favorite season of them all. Chrissy was funniest here and this is when Furley joined. Lana was also funny.

Season Five - B
There were some funny episodes but Chrissy was gone.

Season 6 - A
Great season with Terri and this season also had some of the show's funniest episodes, such as "Up in the Air".

Season 7 - B+
Continuation of some really funny episodes but not as great as season six.

Season 8 - B-
The worst season of them all but still not bad. Compared to the others it wasn't as great but there was still some funny episodes.

Again, these are fun to do:

Season 1: B+
Like Solomon said, the actors were still just getting their feet wet in these 6 episodes. The series didn't truly begin for me until season 2.

Season 2: A-
A lot of good episodes, but also a lot of bad ones. Quality was just okay, and writing was a bit "Thirtysomething"-ish.

Season 3: A+
For me,the best season. Every episode was truly a classic, and kept me entertained for hours, episodes like The Bake Off, The Harder They Fall, and Stanley's Hotline.

Season 4: A
Again, tons of great episodes, but Lana really annoyed me to a point I would fast forawrd through the scene's she was in.

Season 5: C
The writers dealt with Chrissy's departure well, but not that well. Cindy was not an experiened actress at all, and definitely brought the series to a low it couldn't get out of for awhile.

Season 6: B-
Terri for sure made the series better, and minoring Cindy's character, yet not getting rid of her entirely, was the right thing to do. At this point, I could tell that the stories were not as creative as they were 4 years ago.

Season 7: B
Jack's restaurant, in my opinion, helped the series, but with this we knew it would never be the same as it was in the first seasons. Terri was beginning to get stupider, just like Chrissy did, which told me that this should have been the last season before things got wrose.

Season 8: C-
The 2 only good episodes in this season were Grandma Tripper and Baby, It's Cold Inside. Some were just okay, like The Charming Stranger and Friend's and Lovers Part 1 and 2, and the others were terrible. Chemisty with the cast was gone, and jokes were getting old.

Overall Grade: B+

The Grandma Tripper ep was defintely the HIGHLIGHT of season 8. That ep was on the other night

Season 1: B-
It got a lower grade only because it had only 6 episodes. It was a great start to what would become my favorite sitcom.

Season 2: A+
This is probaby my favorite seasons. The cast just started to jell and their were a lot of classic episodes on it. This was my favorite Chrissy season as she wasn't a cartoon yet.

Season 3: A+

Tc continued to hit its stride this season with many great episodes like the Nude Beach and the Wanda X episode plus Larry was seen more which was a plus.

Season 4: A
The show survived the transition from the Ropers to Furley intact and the show never lost much of a beat. The only reason that this season is a grade lower is because Lana didn't really fit on the show.

Season 5: B+

The loss of Chrissy hurt the show but I must be one of the few who didn't mind Cindy and in fact some of my favorite episodes were aired this season including episodes with Jeffrey Tambor and Terry Kiser. Bart Furley was finally seen...another one of my favorites...all in all a good season.

Season 6: A

TC proved they knew talent when Priscilla Barnes joined the cast. The show got even better this years and Terri fit right in.

Season 7: B-
The show was starting to slip a little. Having Jack own a restaurant did help and most of my favorite episodes of this season were set at the restaurant.

Season 8: C
The worst season...the show was starting to repeat itself...The trio hide a kitten from Furley reminded me of them hiding a puppy from Roper in season 1. It was still entertaining though as a sitcom staring John Ritter could only drop so far.

Season 1, A
Although there are only six episodes in this season, it had an innocence that the rest of the series doesn't have. I love watching the early misadventures of Jack, Janet and Chrissy. And also, since I'm not a big Larry fan, it's nice that he's only in one episode. You could tell this was the start of something special.

Season 2, A+
This season continued it's excellence from the first season. The only thing that was better about this season, is that there are more episodes.

Season 3, B+
I can't put my finger on it, but I just didn't like this season as much as the first two. Maybe it was because Larry was showing up more, or because Chrissy was beginning her downslide into dumbness, lol.

Season 4, A-
Okay, this was up from season three, but down from seasons one and two. The addition of Furley was a stroke of genius, however the addition of Lana wasn't. And Chrissy was just too dumb, although that helped to make a few classics this season.

Season 5, B
Out of the first five, this gets the lowest grade. But even with the lowest grade, it's still a high grade. This season featured the transition from Chrissy to Cindy. And Cindy wasn't a great character to bring into the show.

Season 6, A+
Like Solomon said, Terri is a breath of fresh air. She really added something to the show. Chrissy was officially gone and Cindy was on her way out. As a kid, I always prefered Terri to the other blonde mates, and this is the beginning of that.

Season 7, A
Still a great season. Only down slightly from the season before it. However, giving Jack his own restaurant was nice and gave the show another setting to go to.

Season 8, A
I don't have a problem with this season at all. In fact, I enjoyed it. One of my favorite episodes is in this season, the one where Jack and Furley are locked in the freezer. The finale seemed rushed, but that's because it was.

So out of the whole show, season five got the lowest grade with a "B". All in all, a great sitcom.

Season 1. I will give a C because it has 6 episodes, and it seemed like a tryout season.

Season 2 gets an B+. This is the season that determined the show was a big hit. The sex jokes were off the chain.

Season 3 gets a B-. Still funny, but the Ropers became repetitive.

Season 4 gets an A+. This season made me laugh the most. It itroduced Furley, and Chrissy was real stupid in this season you just had to laugh.

Season 5 gets a C+. Most people didn't like Cindy, I was one of few that did. All she did was her job, and the episodes were watchable.

Season 6 gets a C+ The show was bandaged with Terri, still good.

Season 7 gets a C-. It was good, but it was falling off.

Season 8 gets another C-. The only thing that saved this season was that there were enough watchable episodes in it. What hurt this season is the stupid four-part finale. That was a rush job.

Season 1: B-
The show was great from the start but this season gets a low grade because it was so short (6 episodes).

Season 2: A+
One of the best seasons of the show. This is when the show really started to become great. "Strange Bedfellows" and "Days of Beer and Weeds" are two of my all-time favorite episodes.

Season 3: A
Another great season but it gets a slightly lower grade than season 2 only because the Ropers left the show before the season was over (I think they were missing in 1 or 2 episodes), Janet was missing in the episode "Stanley's Hotline". Otherwise it was a great season. "The Bake-Off" is probably my favorite episode of TC from the Roper seasons. Larry became a regular on the show this season.

Season 4: A+
My favorite season of TC. There were so many classic episodes this season and even though the Ropers were gone, Furley was a great addition. Lana wasn't a bad addition but I can understand why she only lasted about 10 episodes. "Jack on the Lam", "Jack the Ripper", "A Camping We Will Go", "Chrissy's Hospitality", and "Handcuffed" are a few of my favorite episodes ever. Another reason why I like this season so much is it's the last full season with the original trio.

Season 5: A
Chrissy was gone but the show was still great, thanks to the rest of the cast, especially John. Cindy was ok but she was no Chrissy. I feel this season is the most underrated. There were a lot of classic episodes this season. The Ropers returned and who can forget the Dying to Meet You episode with Terry Kiser.

Season 6: A+
Another classic season, another roommate. Only this time, the new roommate, Terri, was nothing like Cindy or Chrissy which was a good thing. She really added a lot to the show not to mention she was beautiful. This season also has arguably the greatest episode of TC ever "Up in the Air" and "Two Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" and "Urban Plowboy" were classics too.

Season 7: A-
TC was starting to show it's age a little bit but this season was still great. A lot of episodes took place at Jack's Bistro which wasn't exactly a bad thing but there were a few silly episodes like "Bob and Carol and Larry and Terri" and "Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow".

Season 8: B
The show was still good but it definitely wasn't as great as the other seasons. The final episode was a disappointment and they were starting to repeat themselves a little bit with the Look What I found episode. Still there were a few classic episodes from this season. The Grandma Jack episode is one of my favorites.

Season One B+:
Nice start to the series, but my least favorite season because of it's shortness. Feels off compared to the other seasons which is understandable. John Ritter is a genius. To me he is like a modern day Chaplin and Buster Keaton.

Season Two B+:
The series is starting to find it's groove. Chrissy at her best. Not too dumb just naive. The Ropers are a lot of fun.

Season Three A-:
Great great season. Joyce DeWitt is excellent as Janet and didn't get enough praise back then. The Ropers sex jokes are getting a little tired at this point though.

Season Four A+:
The genius that is Don Knotts makes his debut. He is so good with John Ritter. The series is just on fire this season. So many great episodes here. Dave Powers is a great director too.

Season Five A:
The Chrissy character was getting dumber each season and I actually think it's a good thing they got rid of her character at this point. She was just getting too stupid. Cindy does a pretty decent job replacing her and there are some memorable episodes like The Case of The Missing Blonde, Downhill Chaser, Furley Vs. Furley.

Season Six A+:
Some of the best episodes of the series- Up in the Air(John Ritter at his absolute best here), Some Of That Jazz, A Friend in Need and the great Terri Alden registered nurse makes her debut.

Season Seven A-:
Another fun season. Nice seeing Jack become the owner of his own resturant which was probably the highlight of this season.

Season Eight B+:
Mixed season. Some great episodes like Grandma Jack, She Loves Me She Loves Me Not, Jack's Tattoo and then some bad like the last three episodes (there are small things about them that I love though). I think I'm one of the few people that actually loves the kitten episode more than the puppy episode. Even though it was somewhat the same I found it to be funnier. Also, it was the reason I bought a cat as a kid.

Ooh, this is fun!

Season 1: B. Great start to the series. Not my favorite season, and I think they made Jack a little bit of a jerk in the Pilot only. Not too jerky, but I didn't like it that much. His introduction in the shower was priceless. I think ROPER'S NIECE was my favorite of this season.

Season 2: A-. This season is a step up. JACK LOOKS FOR A JOB, STRANGE BEDFELLOWS, CHRISSY'S NIGHT OUT, and DAYS OF BEER AND WEEDS were great episodes. The hilarious WILL THE REAL JACK TRIPPER? was the first time the series was number 1.

Season 3: A. The season gets better. Larry's role gets beefed up, and the Ropers would get their own series. THE BAKE OFF, THE FAST, and DOUBLE DATE would be my favorites of the season.

Season 4: A+. My first favorite season. Any script penned by Baser and Wieskopf were sure to be winners. Don Knotts and Ann Wedgeworth were excellent additions. Liked Lana in her short stay, and THE NEW LANDLORD, CAMPING, SNOW JOB, RALPH'S RIVAL, LOVE THY NEIGHBOR, LARRY LOVES JANET, HANDCUFFED, and JACK'S GRADUATION were my favorites.

Season 5: A-. I loved this season. It proved that the cast could pull off a good show with it in jeopardy. The Jack and Janet dynamic was excellently crafted all season long, with Chrissy away and Cindy to play. Favorite episodes would be CHRISSY'S COUSIN, THE NOT-SO-GREAT IMPOSTER, DYING TO MEET YOU, THE CASE OF THE MISSING BLONDE, A HUNDRED DOLLARS A WHAT, HONEST JACK TRIPPER, DOUBLE TROUBLE, NIGHT OF THE ROPERS would all be great episodes in my opinion. I also liked A CROWDED ROMANCE. It showed a new twist to THREE'S COMPANY: two girls and a guy, although they don't live together. My third favorite season.

Season 6: A+. Great transition of Cindy to Terri, although Cindy was around this season. I was a Cindy fan. I believed keeping her on the show would have had the Snow connection on there, which I liked. But CUCKOO'S NEST, STRANGERS IN THE NIGHT, MAID TO ORDER, URBAN PLOWBOY, and the infamous UP IN THE AIR, which is my favorite episode of all time. Cindy bids farewell in JANET WIGS OUT (she's got a pretty funny bit before she is rudely dismissed by Janet).

Season 7: A-. I liked this season a lot. Many funny episodes in this include JACK GOES TO THE DENTIST, A NIGHT NOT TO REMEMBER, JACK GOES THE DISTANCE (probably my favorite this season), and THE BRUNCH cracked me up too. Jack's Bistro was a great addition to the series.

Season 8: B+. The show was tired. You could see it, but it was a great final season. I loved SHE LOVES ME, SHE LOVES ME NOT, OUT ON A LIMB, GRANDMA TRIPPER, and JACK'S TATTOO had to have my vote as favorite episode this season. It showed what professionals John and Joyce were after receiving the bad news of the cancellation/spinoff.
