I recently bought two Sports books and my friend asked what am I going to do with them when I'm done and I say-"TRASH CAN!!!. I mean what else am I going to do after I finish? It's not like a DVD that I can Watch again. and My life is not that boring for me to READ a book again so where else would it be when I finish but the bottom of the trash can???-lol
So what do you do with your books when you finish? |

Give them to Goodwill or Salvation Army - or do you have a Half Price Books in the Philly area? There are places that will take used books for cash.

I either donate them or take them to a used book store.

my fellow Tennants sometimes leave stuff they no longer want in the lobby/vestibule of my building, books, old videos, etc. in the past i have left a book or two there.
it's sort of like a free yard sale. |

I keep 'em. I'll eventually reread them, loan my copy to someone or give it to the used bookstore around the corner from where I live.
I strongly advise not throwing out the books. See if you can donate them to the library nearest you... Libraries always need books.

Schools, too. As a teacher, I'm always looking for more books for my classroom. Even if it's a book that doesn't fit into any certain curricula or whatnot, I use them sometimes in art projects and, being an inner-city school, I have some students who really can't afford books or whatnot, so I like to give them out to kids when I find something that matches their interests.

I keep my books. I started collecting them last year and I'll never get rid of them and I don't loan them out anymore.

I usually keep em. When I have time I like to skim through em again. Actually depending on how much I liked the book.

Unless it's a gift from my husband, I usually pass books on to someone. There's always someone interested in reading a good book.

I keep mine, but I have so many that I want to donate them or something. I have way too many.

You can donate them to your local library, I've done that a few times but I usually keep the books that I really like.
