Jack Bauer, the nearly invincible super secret agent from "24," is going rogue next year, says show star Kiefer Sutherland.

While in Brazil recently filming a commercial, Sutherland let it slip that his character has finally reached the breaking point, reports MSNBC.com's Jeannette Walls.

"Bauer will be his own boss. At the end of the sixth season he's tired, disillusioned with the government and doesn't want to have anything more to do with the presidency," Sutherland said.

"He's going to be on his own."

Over the years, Bauer has consistently saved the U.S. from various horrific terrorist acts - but is typically treated like a criminal by his own agency, CTU.
