I always thought Freddie would make a great talk show host. What do you think, daytime battling Oprah or primetime giving Jay a run for his money? I personally think he would be a great late night host. I can see him grilling actors since he wouldn't care what the publicist says are off limit questions. But he would be so popular that actors would have to go on his show to plug their movie.

i can see him having more of an entertainers type show, like Jay's not so much serious topic show like Oprah, although her show is very entertaining too
and to see him giving other commedians their break like he got, though few come close to his talent. |

I think he would've done a nighttime talk show. Since he guest hosted the Tonite show. It seemed up his alley. And he would've been great at it...

I agree, Cheryl--had Freddie still been with us when Johnny retired, he would be hosting the Tonight Show to this day...

That was my thought too. I also think he would have been great as the host of Last Comic Standing.

I can see Freddie hosting the tonight show. After so many years....Replacing Johnny Carson. If he were still doing it today as long as Jay Leno has when he replaced johnny. I can picture a anniversary show with all the skits and interviews Freddie did with others and even throwing in footage back when he was appearing on there as a guest that no one has ever seen

And I could see him hosting a lot of different comedy shows, like last comic standing and definitely the Latino Laugh Festival! |
