Shannen Doherty gets "Christmas" spirit - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Shannen Doherty is suiting up for a "Christmas Caper."

The former "Charmed" star is set to play the lead in the ABC Family telefilm. Doherty will play Kate Dove, a professional thief who retreats to her hometown in Connecticut after a con goes bad and gets stuck baby-sitting her niece and nephew until their parents can make it home for Christmas.

The April Blair-penned telefilm will be directed by David Winkler ("Finding Graceland") and is scheduled to air in November.

Doherty, whose credits also include "Beverly Hills, 90210," "Breaking Up With Shannen Doherty" and the cult classic "Heathers," just wrapped production in New Zealand on Here!'s new spy franchise "Kiss Me Deadly: A Jacob Keane Assignment," which also stars Robert Gant ("Queer as Folk").

First off, in regards to your profile, thats just sick! LOL.

Next, in regards to Shannen, good for her. I wish her well with the project. I was hoping that oxygen would gives us viewers another season of "Breaking Up".
