Default DVD Owners: What Episodes Do You Think Are Most Edited in Synd/TV Land?

For all of you who own the DVD's of The Brady Bunch series, what episodes do you think are the most edited by syndication and TV Land prints?

My votes go to Father of the Year: (An entire scene is gone and can only be seen on DVD of Jan and Cindy looking for Marcia in the kitchen. TV Land and syndication have edited this out. Another scene of Mike and Carol checking on the boys sleeping before coming to the girls room has been cut on all non-DVD versions. Alice's backyard skiing lesson is gone on TV Land and greatly shortened in syndication.

A close runner equal in cut material is The Cincinnati Kids: Lots of scenes with the kids in the park and a few scenes of Bobby and Cindy eating junk food. Much more scenes of the family going on rides.

The Show Must Go On? A huge long ago deleted scene from all current versions of Bobby and Peter selling Family Night Frolic tickets door to door.

In general terms, the amount cut from the episodes for syndication is between 3 and 4 minutes per episode. Some might have a little more, some a little less. You can figure the syndicated episodes are about 22 minutes each episode. It's hard to compare all the individual episodes, but when watching the episodes on the DVD, you can see where they spliced in the cut material because the picture gets a little fuzzy during those scenes. It's really a very good mastering job by Paramount, despite the fluctuating picture quality with the episodes.

We have to be thankful that they went to the trouble to put the uncut episodes on the DVD. I believe the only cut scene on the DVD's is the tiny bit missing from PASS THE TABU. They could have gone ahead and put the syndicated prints on the DVD's, which would have made them worthless and not worth buying at all. Since Paramount produced the DVD's and The Brady Bunch is still a popular show likely contributed to the decision to go all out and give the DVD's the proper treatment.

Dear Sir, or Ma'am, to see if they have scenes cut you need to first watch the episode on TV, and then watch it on the DVD. If there are any parts on the DVD that you did NOT see on TV, then something was deleted/edited on the TV version.

"Dough Rei Me" has always puzzled me; TV cuts out the entire scene where Peter goes out to the car and tries to yell his voice back to normal, scaring Mike, Carol, and Alice, who all think there's a coyote or an intruder.

In the Season 2 episode "Coming-Out Party", the first part of the segment in which the kids practice their fishing in the backyard is cut out, and picks up when Carol comes outside, if I remember correctly.
