Default The New Bianca

The New Bianca

Starring Samaire Armstrong as Bianca Dubois, a 22-year-old former Los Angeles wild child, who returns as a college graduate after attending Brown University as a Psychology major. Bianca's teenage years were filled with rebellion, spunk, independence, attitude, and disobedience. As a teenager, Bianca gotten herself into alcohol abuse, drug usage, sexual promsciouity, school suspensions, pregnancy scares, and even in trouble with the law. Bianca's high society parents, Charles and Nancy Dubois (Charles Shaughnessy, Nicolette Sheridan) decided to send their stubbornly independent and rebellious daughter across the country to attend college at Brown (in Providence, Rhode Island). Now, after graduating and living on her own for the past four years, Bianca is back in in L.A. and back to live her "new life" with her family and friends, who are still disbelieving that she has changed--mostly due to the fact, that when she left for Brown, her exit from L.A. wasn't exactly unforgettable and she made sure she caused a huge screen to embarrass and "make her parents pay" for sending her off. Now, Bianca must try her best to prove her estranged family, her former friends, and her snobby community that she has changed..for the better. Bianca's older sister, Amanda (Shannon Elizabeth) also did a transformation of her own. She went from a popular honor student attending Stanford -to- a pill-popping newly married mom of 2 year old son. Amanda, her husband Trey (Marques Houston) of 2 years, and their toddler son, Gavin live in the pool house of her and Bianca's parents' home. Bianca has moved back into her old childhood bedroom. Some things aren't the same though--her parents are on the verge of a divorce, her pharmacy technican sister is stealing pharmaceutical drugs for her and Trey, her former L.A. best friends have shunned her for leaving, and her recently-suicidal ex-boyfriend Sam (Cam Gigandet) wants to get back together with her.

CAST:
Samaire Armstrong as Bianca Dubois
Shannon Elizabeth as Amanda Dubois-Jacobs
Marques Houston as Trey Jacobs
Cam Gigandet as Sam Greggorsen
*Unknown* as Gavin Jacobs
with Nicolette Sheridan as Nancy Dubois
and Charles Shaughnessy as Charles Dubois

Default Episodes

Ep1: Pilot Episode:
Bianca is back from Brown University and moves her things back into her former childhood bedroom, which makes her remincise about her rebellious teenage years. Bianca sets up to prove everything that she has changed for the better, as she realizes her parents' marriage has left something to be desired, and that her older sister has totally changed (and she meets her new brother-in-law and nephew for first time).

Ep2: Back With Vengence:
Bianca learns her former L.A. girlfriends have all shunned her and refuse to be friends with her anymore after her sudden disappearance after high school graduation. Charles's patience is tried several times when he is forced to look after his toddler grandson Gavin, as Trey is working and Nancy, Bianca, and Amanda are on Rodeo Drive shopping.

Ep3: Public Humilation...Strikes Twice:
Nancy becomes humilated in public when Charles yells at her, after accidently finding out from Amanda about Nancy confiding in her about her insecurities about her and Charles' marriage. Also, Bianca is embarrassed to be seen in public with her former ex-boyfriend, Sam--who's been publicly known for his multiple suicide attempts over the past four years (due to her leaving and dumping him initially). Meanwhile, Trey gets a promotion at work, yet his co-workers aren't so happy for him.

Ep4 and Ep5: Revelations And Secrets..Between Sisters: Part One and Two
Bianca's attention is broughten towards Amanda when she witnesses Amanda's purse filled up with unmarked pharmaceutical drugs, but when questioned about it, Amanda shrugs off her sister yet Bianca is sworn to secrecy. Bianca later walks in on Amanda and Trey indulging themselves in the pills and learns that the couple take and sell the stolen unmarked pharmaceutical drugs for recreational uses, and that the two of them are "pharm party" regulars and have been known to host a few of their own. Secretly, Bianca is haunted by her memories about her drug usage in her past, and decides that she did the same thing when younger--yet now fears for the lives of Amanda and Trey, after recalling a horrifying memory of watching a good friend of hers overdose at a pharm party and die within minutes. Elsewhere, Charles and Nancy decide to go to couples therapy and see Dr. Pam Jackson (Pam Grier)--who later offers Bianca a job as her apprentice/assistant, after Bianca becomes a topic of conservation of her parents during therapy sessions.
